Just bought one. I plug my base guitar into it. Played the back. Sounds good. It does the trick. Of course to have more colour of sounds I’ll ned to put a preamp between. Sounds even better. Clean base, rock base, power base. I can’t believe how good the bass sounds. All good.

These are great as a portable busking speaker or announcement speaker in small areas. Self powered, with inputs for vocals, instrument & backing tracks - It does this VERY well. I own 2 of them. If you want to gig in a venue & get above ambient noise & people talking you will need something bigger. Plug into this & use it as your mixer/monitor & then aux out to a bigger powered speaker on a stand for bigger rooms when required. They are more than adequate for basic guitar practice at home using modelling equipment. They are not going to sound like a 12" inch combo or a quad box because they're not 12" speakers!! What they we made for they do well.

I use the Bose S1PRO+ with a sabbra cadabra and the new Boss amp pedal, it seriously rocks, sounds killer, no more amps to lug around.

Use the FRFR setting undertone match and also insert the helix instead of plugging it straight in your tone will be much better. You’re welcome.

Have you tried the harbinger 3000 series I bought a 3412 it has an app that controls an EQ I just love it I play through my pod go and live situations it is freaking awesome especially for the money?

So honestly would two of these in stereo sound good? all the guitar effects I have are stereo. The hx stomp is stereo. I could put all my keyboards etc through them and not worry about damaging them. My current setup is awesome sounding to mix on but realistically only after the tracks been mixed to a degree.

If your living in the "ampless world" like many of us do in a worship environment, its the age old issue of how do you get the great tone you've spent days working on with your modelor only to get to the FOH tone which sucks. Does this kind of speaker solution solve any of that, i.e. FRFR?

I was in party in hotel i got Headrush MK2 with bluetooth vs. Bose S1pro i used HX stomp. Yea Headrush MK2 is way way better lucky i didnt get one

FRFRs range in sound by manufacture. You can get a great sound at home, go to play on Sunday and sound horrible. I use what I’m playing on Sunday.

I agree. If you can dial in your sounds in the room through the PA that’s best. I always tell people to stay after rehearsal if you have to. But for those who don’t have that, it’s headphones or frfr

It's been my experience that Bose are anything but flat. Spend a little more and grab an EV PXM 12mp those monitors crush and are lightweight!

No mids no delay. The reverb crap .only 1 xlr out for guitar. So to plug a multy effect board threw u need a y cable. The wirless is like $450 on top & gos flat in for hours be lucky to last a gig. The app is crap. No control over backing tracks. Come on bose pick ya game up. Or is it becos bose is made in china now
