Instead of a throwable object, the ROM team should give orc rabble an ability that really increases their charge damage for a few moments. Similar utility to a throwable object but I think that would be more in line with what their purpose in an army would actually be(namely to just overwhelm their enemies by quickly rushing through and breaking up their formations.). Also, it would require more skill from the player to use them effectively, and wouldn't require the team to create actual new assets.

But they are, they're almost all heavy infantry with tons of armor. The exception being really low tier units and of course the slayers. Pretty much everything else is heavily armored with high leadership and staying power.

That makes a lot more sense and I agree their look is a bit meh. But the looks are established by art and models already. Lotr has the superior dwarf aesthetic for me too.
