Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

@@bellablow4287 but the Iron Man is a maximum one day thing, and they don't train for all hours of the day. They weren't underestimating the cheerleaders' thought process, just saying that of course they are tired because many of them are full time students and workers, on top of having to practice for hours on end.

Wow, I didn’t realize they were actually pretty much doing the exact same dances every season. There’s one dance in here that was also featured in the follow the Leader segment of this year’s season.

Chelsey Sanderson yea they do introduce new choreo maybe about one or two pieces a season, they usually reserve those for opening or half time, but they do have staples like sexy hips and such that are just kinda like bread and butter for them which is what you will most likely see during the game while they perform on the sidelines and in the stands.

i asked once how many new dances there are a year, they said a little under half! but these girls have at least 100 dances they have to remember, so they're definitely all similar

She also clearly made an effort to make the dance look good even though she knew it didn't fit the song. She didn't visibly act like she'd made a mistake, she just kept going, which is what you're supposed to do as a performer. So even though she messed up, they also saw that she's good at handling those mistakes when they do happen.

It's a performance thing. Controlling the movement of your hair to match the style your doing. It's tricky to get it perfectly right. Some people do it noticeably great.

I don’t get why they do this improv during the game. Why not just say hey we’re doing this song and the dance with it is going to be x? That way they know what dances they’re doing ahead of time instead of potentially messing up like kashara did there?
