Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

Maddie is definitely my favorite DCC and the fact that she became a group leader in her third year with only one veteran season under her belt speaks volumes to how talented she is!

@Kimmy Middleton First off, she does babysitting stuff for the jones family, don't need proof for that. She got GL without being 2nd leader and choosen over someone who stepped up herself as 2nd leader in her second year when Erica got fired. THAT is called favourtism. She got point for what? Her look? Nah. Dancing? She is a good dancer but not good enough to be point. She got favourtism whether you like that or not. She is overrated and hopefully retiring after this season so we have a proper point again. that is MY opinion. Whether you like that or not is not my problem. Have a nice day.

Finally this is one of the compilations we have been waiting for. Its so nice to see everyone who has been a group leader. Can we get Casey's DCC Journey? I saw a live video of their performance and I was like who is that? Could someone please tell me who the black girl at the front with the short hair is? She is amazing. Also we need Nicole Bulcher's DCC Journey and Jenna's and Miranda's. It was so nice to see the group leaders when they themselves were rookies and training camp candidates. Its a testament as to how they can rise from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the pack. I can't wait to see who gets group leader in the coming years. I could definitely see Victoria getting group leader along with Amanda and Kat, potentially Chandi. I think that if Yuko didn't leave before time she would've gotten group leader.

If they split the candidates into groups while there are still approx. 45 of them in training camp, do they deliberately spread the least able dancers between the groups? So that, as people get cut, the losses are likely to be reasonably equally 2 or 3 from each group, rather than having to move ladies between groups later on?

@@rosem758 she dressed up in blackface for a Halloween costume and had pictures on social media. The pictures went more or least viral. During their social media training on one of the seasons (not sure which, maybe 7), Kelly talked about it and said they were getting phone calls and had stories calling into question the whole organization on if they were racist, etc. She made it sound like they had to do a ton of damage control, which I don’t doubt. But why keep her?
