I doubt that this will be the worst draft ever once the dust settles because skill development is at such a high-level we’re going to get some players guaranteed. The issue is the best player in this draft almost certainly won’t be the first pick.

The Atlanta Hawks should draft Alex Sarr. The Hawks should also bring in a solid veteran in free agency such as Klay Thompson. The Atlanta Hawks lack veteran leadership. They have not been the same since Lou Williams, Vince Carter, and Solomon Hill left the team.

Lmfao so clear they dont watch us play. Sarr addresses many of our biggest needs defensively and can be a great interior anchor for us immediately. Would also be great in PnR w trae and as a raw player he would benefit from developing alongside the best passing guard in league. Even further, we dealt with poorly timed injuries this year from OO, to JJ, to Trae. No need to blow it all up but we can certainly shuffle a few pieces.

The Hawks take is strange because its an assumption that it means blow it up??? You have a franchise player in Trae... you do what you can to make it work around him and that PnR players, shooters, and guys who can go. Trae stays and Murray, Capela, Hunter (maybe) could go and run it with an evolving player in Johnson + Bogi, Okongwu, and so on.. Its a lazy positon to be like "bad luck and winning this lottery and you know what that means... blow it up" what!? If you trade everyone and keep a Jalen Johnson and pair him up with who?? Because you've essentially traded away Trae, Murray, Bogi, Capela and Hunter lmaoo.. bffr
