KKR is in unique position. They can go all the way or not make it to top 4. However they are not going to be in the end of the table. Going by last year 11 and keeping on the mind play as much as players from last year squads in my opinion the playing 11 and Impact player options are. 1) Sunil Narine 2) Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk) 3) Angkrish Raghuvanshi 4) Ajinkya Rahane (c) 5) Venkatesh Iyer 6) Andra Russel 7) Rinku Singh 8) Ramandeep Singh 9) Harshit Rana 10) Varun Chakaravarty 11) Anrich Nortje Impect Players 1) Manish Pandey 2) Vaibhav Arora 3) Anukul Roy 4) Mayank Markande I think KKR will go with this 11 because then they only have 2 new player in the field. Everyone else was from last year. Even in the impact player option 3/4 players are from last year. I would rated this team 8.5/10 because of new captaincy and no Left arm pace bawling in the 11. Because I think Nortje will be the 1st choice over Spenser Johnson. If they go to Spenser As first option it will still be same score for lack of experience.

@ If the go with De Kock it will balance the team more because of 2 left handed batsman on the top follow by 2 right handed batsman brings better balance. I picked Gurbaz because of how the Auction went and what is the vibe from KKR came so far. It looked like they picked up De Kock as backup first, then went for Philip Salt close to 11 CR before backing up. Then Pick up Gurbaz because they couldn’t get Salt anymore. Also how much they were trying to get the same people back as last year, giving me a vibe that they will go with Gurbaz over De Kock. Personally I would put Narine in the lower Middle order and open with De Kock and Ankrish Raghuvansi to open. It will feel different and fresh, but I don’t see that happening for some reason.

Core of KKR is retained and replaced properly, in the comments some typical Indians with narrow mindset will troll them but both rinku n raman were underused last season this time they could perform more if they will get chance a little in above. they only lost starc but brought the aussie replacement spencer johnson, lost Iyer but bought rahane and gurbaz is good replacement in place of salt. KKR team enjoys ipl, tgeir managment dont put pressure on them, see how all the players given their best in last season, even some were underpaid. That's make teams like Kkr, MI and CSK strong even RR is slowly entering the list, becoz even these team foreign players will try to give their all whether ist fielding or their respective role.💪

This is a really good team. Starc really performed well only in those 2 playoffs and vs mi in wankhede. Shreyas iyer as a captain equates to rahane as captain with same strike rate. Rahane has won every tournament he has captained. Smat ranji you name it, he has won it. Will spencer/nortje be able 2 perform in d playoffs. Since starc didnt do much in round robin matches. Rahane will be the best captain option for kkr as its same to same replacement of shreyas and he can play an anchor innings for kkr like Shreyas did... Rahane should come to 2nd down as angkrish was playing 1st down when rana was injured. All the batting line up should remain same except rahane coming in place of shreyas iyer.. my only concern is that can narine deliver the same batting impact again and can spencer jhonson fill the shoes of mitchell starc?.. Overall its a good team and they can definitely defend the title.. I'll give it a 90/100 points coz they got the best spinners attack and lower order batsman in this ipl

I am a fan of Ash Ki Baat . You guys are doing fantastic analysis so best of luck and keep uploading such videos. I want to say something, 1st as a kkr fan(since 2008) i absolutely agree with Vimal sir view point about the Rahane captaincy option. He brings experience and stability in the fire power batting lineup. Also if KKR makes Venky or Rinku captain then it might backfire them. Both come with a huge price tag(compared to previous seasons) so they already have performance pressure. Keep them performing as a player freely rather than putting additional pressure. 2nd everyone is talking about Venky price tag but I feel like Starc he got this price for performing in a clutch game(Q1,2&final). So from my point of view as a KKR fan or cricket lover he deserves this price tag on the basis of his performance in crucial tournament winning games. Thank You 👍🇮🇳

I think, on paper KKR is the most powerful team. Qdk is more dependable then Salt, Ajinkya is complete overall batter and currently Nortje is more lethal then Starc. Rest squad is same as 2024. I think KKR will finish in Top 2 for sure. KKR deserves 90+ marks
