Can the Mac 1014 be just as good?

Just tested mine out for the first time did 4 different ammo ( 2 different 7.5 shot 1250fps , 1 brand of number 6 1300 fps and winchester 1350fps buck). Shot 200 rounds not one hiccup and ghost loaded up to 9 rounds everytime. Love this shotgun.

@@BendingBallistics ive seen in videos for other shotguns winchesters ammo being hit or miss recently. One thing i will add i lubed the shit outta mine before i shot not sure if that matters or not.

It's NOT a failure , or unfortunate if the gun won't run ammo OUTSIDE of the manufacturer's recommendations , or if the operator FAILED to perform the RECOMMENDED break in regimen . It IS a FAILURE to READ and HEED ( FOLLOW ) the INSTRUCTIONS provided with the gun . Nothing more , nothing less . Try LOW VELOCITY loads AFTER a PROPER BREAK-IN , and report back . I'll bet , the results will be better and more meaningful . Thanks for the video .

Mine has been pretty damn reliable so far. Gotta make sure it isn’t a light load, the 7/8 ounce loads don’t seem like a good idea at any velocity. Sadly, my front sight broke when I tried to take it off mine lol I hope the warranty works Way too much heavy thread locker on this thing.

Alot of comments about break in, maybe do another vid. Explaining what the status of rhe MAC was and is now . Thinking about getting the MAC but my father says never get a gun that requires a breakin period , he said rhats ridiculous just buy a gun that runs out of the box

Success is 100% , not 4 out of 5. Yeah I own both the MAC 1014 and the M2. You didn’t take it through the 100 round break in. Most people don’t. Clean it like the manual says, then lube it with damn good lube and then run 100 rounds of full power 00 buck and it will run anything.

@robertezell1916 I have way over a hundred rounds thru my mac1014, it doesn't like the Winchester ammo at all, which it is cheap ammo, I have another portion of videos coming out on the Mac, im not saying it's a bad shot gun however it's frustrating to me that it won't run the Winchester ammo

@robertezell1916 I am well beyond 100 rounds thru the Mac 1014 I'm over 1000 rounds thru it, 4/5 on the Winchester I consider pass, because prior to that it wouldn't cycle a single one, the Winchester white bow is junk ammo regardless

I did what the manual says, but I ran 1650 FPS Buckshot about 120 or so and after I ran 1145 FPS and it ate it with no issues. This gun needs that break in before lower FPS shells.

See if you can get the range all to yourself next time. The Mac probably needs a good several hundred rd break in or just run the 1350 to buckshot

@bluekoi455 it has several hundred rounds thru it, and getting a public range to my self isn't really feasible I work a normal job just like everyone else my free time to goto the range unfortunately is the same as everyone else's

winchester white box is the shittiest shotgun shells money can buy,stop blaming to gun i saw even benelli's having a proglem with WWB and also if you read (if you can) the manuel that it says you should use high FPS shells for beaking in..

If a gun is truly reliable it should run any/everything, im well past break in round counts on this shot gun, so I'm well aware what the manual says about break in, at over 1000 rounds thru this shotgun gun it should run any and all ammo if it's truly just as good it should run all ammo
