You have to remember that IRL this car has a DRS system, I think it is not modded in. I am sure the evo would do a sub 3:00 IRL with no problem.

I would love to see Audi make a R18 "EVO". Just wondering how it would compare, especially with the philosophical design differences of the original cars. Porsche developed their hybrid to be a well integrated and balanced system, whereas Audi used the hybrid as more of a "most bang for the buck" kick in the pants. For that reason, I think with limits removed a R18 EVO might be quicker in a hotlap situation. Great video, as always, Jimmy. Can't wait for LeMans!

Im sure you would get below 3:00. The evo topped around 350kph in spa. And even the boost has a larger capacity in the evo. But 15 seconds ist still pretty hard to beat imo

No the 919 Evo topped at 369kph at Spa, went flat out trough Blancimont at 333kph and through Eau Rouge at 307kph with the DRS wing open... Yeah its a monster.

That's kind of a no-brainer. The 919 Evo is most litterally what happens if the engineers are given a platform, and let loose. It's faster than 2017 F1 at Spa.

Gran Turismo? Try the Dodge SRT Tomahawk X, I bet you can get around 2 minutes if you learn to control it (It tends to lose the rear end in slow speed corners, you can solve it by using a higher gear, preferably 3rd)

I did 3:00.077 (sum of personal best sectors 2:59.227) with the F2004 during the first session in Assetto Corsa. Will push it to 2:59.xxx now and then I will take a look at the EVO. Should be MUCH quicker than the F2004. At least around THIS track... :-)
