Meh . Good for casuals , but even with 1gig fiber I still have problems doing cloud gaming . Plus, games will never be as stable or visually stunning streaming over the internet .

I have a one more case for your list. I have owned consoles in the past but not for 10 years or so. I now bought a new tv since the old one broke down. Now I have the option to try some games and see if I still want to play games without investing in a console. Just a controller is needed.

I have a ps5 and a switch. I don’t want a 3rd console but playing some xbox titles this way is great. Sure, it doesn’t look perfect but it’s good enough.

i still got the first release of xbox one, been wanting to upgrade to xbox x for a while now as its on its way out can hear the fan giving everything it got but my tv screen started showing faint lines at bottom, so had to make choice of getting new one didn't notice this feature till after so now i can keep the other other tv as spare with xbox for when friends come over win win really, also got it on my laptop top. will deffo need to upgrade to the series x for likes of call of duty etc though

@@AA_dagr8t you are incorrect. The game simply needs to be XCloud compatible, it does not need to be included in the free-to-play Game Pass library. If you're having issues, well it's Microsoft, and their company is far too large to care much about the average paying customer.

I wonder if samsung will pull a sony move like with discovery already purchased digital games. For example, if a customer purchases digital content and samsung decided to remove the already purchased digital media like movies due to a licensing agreement with any of the streaming service providers. On december 31st, 2023, sony will be removing already digitally purchased movies from discovery due to licensing agreement and sony has a list of movies from discovery that the customers already paid for. I wonder if the digital games will follow the same path and agree to the licensing agreement similar to sony and discovery and remove already purchased digital games that the customers already paid for. There is no law against removing digital content that the customers paid for since the customers only rent the games that they paid digitally since the corporations only the digital content. At least with the physical media, the consumer has ownership of the physical copy instead of paying to rent any form of digital media, no subscription payments since the physical copy is being paid only once instead of continuously every month, works offline, can't be taken away, no censorship, no drm and superior quality for both audio and video compared to streaming. With digital, the content can be edited and changed without the consumer knowing anything about what is happening. For music, certain artist remove there content from streaming services and some artists only release there content in physical format only due to some kind of disagreement between the streaming services, the artist and record labels. The straw that broke the camels back for me, is when the games that I used to play on steam were removed from steam. Luckily I have game consoles that still physical copies of the games. It really sucks that I had to buy the same games multiple times because steam removed the digital games that I used to play that I used to have access to. I even tried looking for the same games that I used to have on steam from other digital game libraries and they no longer exist as if the games never existed from the beginning.

I think Cloud will be a viable alternative to console gaming some day, but that day isn't today. It probably won't be for another decade when latency and image quality while streaming improve greatly

PlayStation premium should be available on game hub and Nintendo and steam should do the same. Xbox game pass works well on game hub, perfect controls and graphics are very good. It's about time that console hardware is integrated into TV's as standard. There's no reason for a console with massive empty TV's there's no hardware in TV's why hasn't PlayStation and Xbox established hardware intergation into Samsung, LG and other TV maker's. A console is so unnecessary. The only consoles that make sense are Nintendo switch and steam deck. PlayStation and Xbox should be a TV service with a console experience including library downloads for offline play.

Hardware will always be required, games don’t run on magic. Even when you’re streaming it’s actually connecting to a console over the network. Not everybody likes to deal with lag and lower quality graphics, if you don’t mind the drawbacks then you already have the option to stream so don’t complain and say consoles are unnecessary. Just stream and be done with it.

I recommend cloud gaming to mostly single player games or slower paced multi-player games. I definitely don't engage in pvp in cloud gaming.

Got q70b, got both amazon luna (it comes free with Prime, some games to play monthly and be able to link Ubisoft Account and play all games there that i bought) and xbox game pass. Feels good 👍 , that's hella of a TV man ❤. Why bother expensive games and console, this works great, recommend Samsung TV ftw. Recently try those free to play games Samsung and BlackNut promo until Feb, in love with cloud gaming 😍

The xBox cloud gaming is so bad. I try out games using the service and the lag, and drops are terrible, yet coop games (HALO, Fortnite, etc) are great, so, No, it's not my internet connection, just crappy cloud service.

Stop lying it's your internet. I have a Note 10plus and gamepass cloud works great with almost no lag. I cloud streamed starfield on an OG Xbox didn't look great but it's an og Xbox. Check the other components of your internet not just speed. Ping, etc etc. My friends use it too and we all play Remnant 2 at work or after with a razor kishi.
