After you've observed/enquired/contemplated deeply into the whole of your life, doing this day in & day out, there may come a moment of insight/seeing from the silence within you, & that seeing shall clear all your doubts.

Imagination, observation those are based on memory. Any process depends on information/memory (present, part, future). Death is not a process, it's a statement. Nothing derives from death. Maybe for someone who had been alive previously... Maybe those can "get back", reborn.
