😢Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‭-‬18‬ ‭Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless. 😢😢😢

I grew up in Japan and I took the SAT and honestly it was ridiculously easy. This does not mean that I am smart. For sure, if you were to ask any junior high school student in Japan to solve the SAT, especially its math, at least 90% of them would get a perfect score. I have heard many stories of kids who were always at the bottom of their grade in Japanese schools and were ridiculed by everyone, but then went abroad to study and were treated like geniuses there, and at least as far as the SAT is concerned, it seems to be true.

@SHADOWM2024
@SHADOWM2024 Жыл бұрын
@waveril5167 Well that's because they are making the students think it's harder just because they write 2-3 sentences for each question, but we all know it's gonna be repeating and unnecessary to write " I would have to say that the answer is going to be ____ because when we ______ we can find out that etc." You see what I mean it becomes bland and not engaging as they keep repeating the same sentences for answers most of the time. But believe it or not the SAT does have a essay portion which people rarely do since you know its optional and they know people are gonna keep doing runons especially higherschool level so why would you need to write unnecessary things when they can just make the questions tricky so you HAVE to critical think about it second guessing yourself and tbf makes it more fun and potentially could be harder if the answer you got was on the multiple or not. But yeah Switzerland does have good schooling though since you and the teachers get more freedom to do your own things/activities definitely better for the students over there. And I just remembered I'm pretty sure all private/charter schools are like that that's why the "smarter" students mostly come from those schools and if you at the way the teachers teach it's because they have more freedom to do their own activities. Idk how I got here but I'm done talking and no this didn't take long to write probably like 4 minutes thinking and writing as I go and this is basically what runon feels like.

The Western educational system has more strength in presentation, discussion and critical thinking whereas Japan or east Asia focuses on solely solving "academic questions". I’ve always felt the US system has a nice balance. People can trod along and get a basic, functional education if their ambitions don’t lay in academically challenging fields, or people have the resources to push themselves for the best. Like you said, there isn’t a difference between the top students. Any top student in the US would say exactly what he did about the difficulty of the exam (and the video giving the percentage who get a 1600 is very misleading as that includes the 2 English sections. It’s closer to 2-3% getting an 800 in math, with many more hovering in the 750 range.) I’m at a top college in the US and I feel like I’m not just having academics shoved down my throat. I get to read and discuss ancient literature, learn about other cultures, etc. I’d hate to be in the environment that they have in Japan personally.

I got a perfect score on the math section of the SAT, here is my take - it isn't necessarily a test of difficulty, as it only covers up to algebra 2 and some very basic concepts of pre calc (radians, basic trig functions). It's meant to be a test of endurance. It's a 4 hour long test, and you are taking the math section right after a 1 and a half hour difficult reading and writing section. At this point, you are already fatigued (also you're taking the exam at 7am). Then you have to take a something like 70 or 80 question math exam. At that point, you are so tired you will make silly mistakes on the easiest problems.

You do have to consider that the questions on the SAT are usually middle school/9th grade level as it is usually taken halfway through highschool in 10th/11th grade. Also, many students take classes in math multiple years ahead of the intended pathways. Those who take the SAT in the US who are in those higher level classes usually also find that the SAT is more easy than expected because they are taking courses like Calculus when the test is based in Algebra 1 standards. Really, it isn’t so crazy that he says middle school students could solve most of this because it really is true even in the US.

I tutor students in the United States in mathematics. With few exceptions, they don't know much, even the "advanced" ones. It's shocking. The SAT is not a difficult test. Before 1994, the exam was more g-loaded, i.e., it correlated more strongly with IQ. It was a bit more difficult to prepare fully for the exam. Now I do test prep, and have increased the scores of several SAT test-takers by 300 points total. In short, it's a more coachable exam. Being highly educated will automatically increase your score on both sections -math and verbal - of the exam. A friend sat for the exam at age 60 and had an aggregate score of 1460, with 800 on the Verbal portion of the exam. I took it at age 65 and scored a perfect 1600, and never felt pressed in the least. I did it because I wanted to employ the prep system I teach students who will take the SAT, to see how I might improve my product. Needless to say, my system works well, but not as well for others perhaps as it did for me. The reason? I know a lot more than the students do; I have a more nuanced brain. And honestly, I'm not depending on my score to get me into a top university. I did that already, so I'm immune to pressures that can overwhelm them.

For the general SAT You are expected to have a first go around 10 th grade which is basically freshman high school in east Asian countries. There is no reason to put more advanced questions. The SAT subject tests are more geared towards high school level subjects. On top of that there are a lot of accelerated programs student can take. I have seen folks in my university years entering with half the required credit to graduate. Meaning if they want to they can probably speed run college in a year or so due to their high school prep. Also compared to a lot of Asian countries, bachelors degree is not the end goal. Of the three law, medical, and accounting degree mentioned only accounting is widely offered at the bachelor level in the US. Comparing the purpose of entrance exam for Japan to LSAT and MCAT might make slightly more sense.

Remember that Math is only one part of the SATs. It might have changed by now, but I originally took my SAT in 2015 and I remember a lot of the questions being straight up logic/IQ questions, where the wording was designed to trick you. It would be stuff like, “if this thing is true, then what can you infer about that thing?” My math score was the highest because a lot of the trick questions were just straight up confusing on purpose.

Lmfao. I basically went to University with this caliber of dude and yet, I was outscoring them on every exam, and I was a poor white kid from a single-family household raised on bread, hotdogs, and micowaved mac & cheese. There are certain people in the World who are just BORN talented, with capabilities higher than anyone else, no matter what efforts they put in. I studied for a week for my ACT and SAT and got a 36 and 1590, respectively. I am, verifiably, a genius.

The average age of successful applicants for the bar examination is usually between 28 and 29 years old I think it's pretty good to pass the bar exam in three years

That's right! If you pass at the age of 28-29 on average If you enter university at the age of 18, it will take about 10 years! Moreover, in his case, he is studying various studies such as quiz shows at the same time while doing super hard study at medical school!😂

Chinese and Korean exams→ Each questions aren't difficult but you need almost full score to enter top uni. Japanese exams → The questions are extremely tough but you only need to solve 60% of the whole test. However at least 70-80% of score is required to pass the University of Tokyo department of medicine.

@@コンデンサー Maybe you are confused with共通テスト(Standard University entrance exam) and you are correct if you are talking about this.

the fact that a SAT is considered middle school level in japan just shows how good the education system is there and how bad it is in most other places in the worlds respectively

The American education system is a joke. Not to take away from this man's intellect but I'm sure this would be an easy test for many in any of his fields. The fact that it's no more than middle school questions to him shows this. Nonetheless, I'm still impressed lol

SAT has proven to be flawed for a while. But a lot of these tests are more about memorizing all these things over the years.

Difficulty is irrelevant because it's completely relative. Its purpose is to rank incoming freshman relative to each other so that the picky colleges can accept the top students.
