@AreteTrading NO Boomer, thank you! LOL! I've been watching for about 3 months now, and it makes me view trading in a whole other light. I used to get nervous about markets opening, and now that I mark off the previous day, there's a level of peace to it, LOL! Honestly man, that one piece of info is gold.... and the bougie Stool. That's it.

Eh I'm split on this take. It really depends on whom he's making videos for. If it's for newbies, or for intermediate / more advanced traders. Personally I like the current style of video and speaking. Maybe a little bit more education on the whys, but overall there's no handholding
@mykeprior3436Ай бұрын
That's it! Ty for the China update, very informative. Has anything changed with the Argentina theme? Could you cover BBAR as an update at some point in the near future and it's downward trend line? It seems inverse to the ten year, which has also only recently slowed it's yield jump.
@TheRealRealtorАй бұрын
Thank you! Awesome video as always! One important observation about the smart vs dumb confidence spread. If we factor in the general market trend the correlation becomes nearly perfect - looking at your trend from 2022 through 2024 - @26:33 ... When the market is declining in 2022, the spread bottoms are an almost perfect indicator of market tops, while spread tops are an unreliable indicator of market bottoms. Then the market is an upswing and spread tops are a near perfect indicator of market bottoms, while spread bottoms are unreliable indicators of market tops. So in summary - when the market is declining spread bottoms are very useful to figure out short-term tops, and when the market is rising, spread tops are very useful to figure out short-term bottoms. Would be interesting to see how to best use it in a choppy market, if you pull longer-term data.

I use sqzmom in trading view and I have found with divergence the price will return to same levels as previous peak and then the divergence strategy is over. In most recent with rsi going lower, price came down and touched previous peak meaning strategy is over. So I no longer consider there to be divergence.

In 1995 we had a Shiller PE ratio at 20. Today we are almost at 37. That is almost a bouble. We are way more overpriced today. Can we go higher, sure we can. But it don't think we are in a 1995 scenario, where we just skyrocket for another 4-5 years. Maybe we are 1 year (at best) away from a big recession.

Since you asked for feedback. Content is great. Try to move your mouse less and don't scroll the chart display unless needed. sometimes your circling it aroudn and area of the chart to draw our attention, which makes sense, other times it's just flying all over the place and it's distracting and your moving and resizing the chart back and forth without really changing it. The issue I have is how ‘95 played out. Computers and the internet were in their infancy. Windows and MacIntosh were very clunky operating systems at the time and had overblown evaluations for the time. The only contributing factor to increase production at this time is the massive upscale in chip production by the semis. I do not personally see the benefits of AI making any groundbreaking progress in the short term, and that could lead to a massive miss step in the markets valuations of AI companies

If you are trying to teach, try and simplify and explain why. Someone learning/beginner in the market may not know 'Relative Strength Index' or MACD and why a lower low, or lower high on this signal relates to what is happening to the stock price...Explaining the correlation may help. 'Saying hey the MACD and RSI have a lower low, but your Index is making new highs.' This is an indication that the market is bearish or bullish? I don't know...

From my perspective, this highlights the importance of having a competitive advantage as investors. Merely mirroring the market strategies of others is insufficient in achieving optimal results. I am currently grappling with the decision to invest in the current market, as it presents both uncertainty and opportunity. Could you share your insights on this matter?

Indeed, the recent market downturn serves as evidence that a vast majority of individuals lacked a sufficient understanding of the underlying financial dynamics at play.

I have learned from past experience that basing market judgements and decisions solely on rumors and hearsay can lead to detrimental results. In 2020, I fell victim to such a situation and was left holding worthless positions in the market. To overcome this, I sought the assistance of a professional advisor and made significant changes to my portfolio. Over the past two years, I have worked with this advisor and have seen a growth of 750k in my portfolio, demonstrating that profitable opportunities can be found in both bullish and bearish market conditions, it is a matter of strategic investment approach.

I used to listen to another guy but unsubscribed when he said nobody that knows anything uses RSI. That was all I needed to hear to figure out that he was the guy that didn't know things.
@AreteTradingАй бұрын
I would avoid making statements like that. It shows a lack of understanding that you dont know everything. I am always steelmaning my positions and trying to figure out where I am wrong. Its just smart. If someone said I am a day trader and I do not like RSI for options because XYZ that is one thing but if you took the time to learn why someone uses it. I use it all the time live in the community and people see it work consistently. Wilder the creator also created ATR and had been trading commodities for over 40 years . Whenever you hear something ask yourself the source and think if you want to be in their position
