I'd say, other than the termite being unrealistic, the handcuffs were as well. People are trained to put keyholes of handcuffs towards the body, instead of outwards, making picking near impossible because of the length of the chains which prohibits access. That and as LPL mentioned, most modern handcuffs have double locking mechanisms. By itself it really isn't that hard to pick, but does increase steps and length of the picking.

Copper instead of aluminum, right?
@cuttlefishrampant52413 жыл бұрын
@@vyor8837 Aluminum is used for iron thermite. If you calculate ΔG for both reactions (using copper instead of aluminum) you will find that for copper ΔG=353.1, meaning the process is non-spontaneous, whereas for aluminum ΔG=-840.1, meaning it *is* spontaneous. Copper is also more electronegative than iron, another reason why it wouldn't work as the reducing agent. It's pretty easy to get handcuff keys. Most males will be wearing trousers or jeans. Most of those have belt loops, and most of those have a single belt loop in the center at the back. There's various methods you can use to hide your key on the inside of that loop. And as most times you are cuffed with your hands behind your back the police make it too easy for you to grab that key from inside your belt loop and uncuff yourself. It might not lead to your freedom as you're probably sat in the back of the police van, but when you get to the station and they open the doors to see you sat there uncuffed the cops faces of amazement and confusion is priceless. It's even funnier if you uncuff your hands and then put the cuffs on your ankles. That confuses them even more. I've done both and around the ankles is a lot more funny because usually when the police arrest you on the street they cuff you and wait for a vehicle to come. So the driver never sees you until he lets you out so he's really confused as to why the other officer cuffed you by the ankles. What ever you choose to do just make sure to leave the key in the van otherwise they'll strip search you and that's when it's not funny anymore. Just tell them you found the key in the van on the floor. Our cops can have a bit of a laugh and they won't crush your windpipe with a knee

The mechanicals would be covered in molten iron. Less than ideal.

2:35 & 3:38 I think that's the first time I've seen LPL be proven definitively wrong on camera before. lol

And even then, it was more of a joking remark, since obviously she had not made what was intended.

@@RuyVuusen To be fair, that snapper did look REALLY weak. =P

um he usually laughs when its obviously a joke. he laughed and went "as a wall hanger" we all know he has used hangers before to pick locks so he was definatly saying "this is so going to work though its big"

I'd say, he expected them to use a lock to test them on. Not a Master Lock.

I was worried during the introductions that you would reveal LPL, glad to see we’re all on the same page

LPL not showing his face even in collabs is bar none my favourite thing about these collaborations.

I love that Mark and TKOR made the effort to hide his face. That's part of the appeal of LPL.

Was Lowkey excited that we'd see law picking lawyers face 😅 Have been watching both channels videos for quite some time now. Great content on both ☺️

LPL is awesome, knew we wouldn't see his face though 😂

I just love when a faceless youtuber collabs IRL and if they dont have something to protect their face, its just a hand. They're nothing but a floating hanf

When I for get and tell my wife about cool lockpicking such as this, she gets very mad and says it's just teaching people to be thieves. So I ask, "Ignorance is bliss then?" I don't know how I am still married.
