You can see the differing cooking philosophies: Rie maintains the food in its natural form as best as she can, preferring fresh items like fruits. Katie went deep in sugar and processing it beyond original form. Very much colors the differences between Western and Asian cooking.

My interpretation of the kid's drawing would be: For the frog, I would make barbecue chicken. Arrange the chicken breast and four chicken wings to resemble the body of the frog For the witch hair, I would make squid ink pasta aglio e olio style For the pink broccoli, I would cut strawberries in the desired shape and cover them with pink candy melts For the flies, I would make the body out of grapes and the wings out of chocolate

@@arajahstan6549 i agree with this statement! i LOVE frogs. especially fried. when i was first told that it was frog, i never believed that it actually was until a few years later and one time, my parents decided to bring some home to give my friends and their families to try and one of my friend who tried it, loved it (it was fried) but her mom told her that it was chicken which she believed and then she told me the next day and was like "hey thanks for the chicken! it was really good!" and i got so confused cuz i never gave her chicken but we gave her frogs so i had to ask her and she explained to me what i had gave her and i was like "oh! that's not chicken. that's frogs lol" and she was so disgusted cuz she thought it was chicken cuz her mom told her so 😂
