Another awesome vid John, so keen to to get out on the yak and try these out, the water here is quite dirty at the moment with so much rain everyday, so im hoping if a rub them with a little bit of scent ill hook up a flatty and maybe if im lucky i'll get my first jack

Look for some cleaner water or changes in colour for those flatties ;) loads of rain might make the drains fish well. Super dirty makes it harder for em though I’ve found. Only one way to find out !!

Don’t quote me but I think these prawns/shrimp can be dipped in boiling water and then run under cold water so you can re mould the plastic

I used this here in europe in red design. Its an ok Pike Lure for heavy cover in lilly pads and like you said good for slow presentation and twitching. I like this even more than a sinking frog lure. Not a bait for people that want some ultra relistic action but predators seems to like it. Best fish i caught was an 89 cm pike. Perch are heavy interested but for this Savage gear need to make a max 5 to 7 cm Version.

Hey john your right Barra love them especially when they are feeding on prawns it can be hard to tempt them on hard bodies. There awesome to float over rocks on a run up tide 👍

Cool looking lures for sure, nice action also! Side note- they are not 3D printed, but actually molded from a 3D model which Savage gear created from a 3D scan of an actual prawn! Pretty cool tech to get the lure shape perfect, or pretty damn close haha

Yeah really becomes a battle of how long u can keep it at the bottom before getting a bite Caught a 73 cm coral trout on that prawn with a 2-4 kg baitcaster Yeah so they really do work well just jigging across sand or rock

Run the tpe shrimps with a jighead in them if you can rig them straight they run well with a 3/0 1/6. And heat the tail up on the hybrid shrimp and bend it back like a mmd splash prawn and thank me later

Wasn’t 3D printed though. Model was designed in CAD and the molds made of aluminum. The 3D part of the name refers to the 3D scanning process prior to the CAD design.

John, google Zerek weighted worm hooks, I found them in tackle shop and they are packs with varied weights (forward weighted) as replacement for 4" and 5" prawns, saves buying lures just for the hooks. www.wilsonfishing.com/Products/Terminal/Zerek-Hook-Packs

Hey David. Yes I did catch one a very long time ago and it is still vivid in my fading memory😂😂 it was tongue in cheek mate. He does seem to manage many jacks on command sometimes as it seems😂😂 tight lines to all.
