I recently bought one of these purely because of the realistic look on it, I’ve got 70+cm Barra, big tarpon, jacks, golden snapper & pretty much everything you can imagine on the live shrimp plastics. Not much can say no to them, cheers for the info 🍻

Swap to weedless hook with lighter weight somehow triggers more bite rates during the fall... there's more tweaks I done to the tail & legs to improve the actions too !

Great vid John ! That prawn looks good enough to eat . Just wish there was a better way to present them( and just about everything these days ) for sale . All that plastic for one lure seems to be in contrast to most thinking fishers mindset of looking after our precious environment . Maybe it might be could be a marketing strategy for quality lure manufacturers to use eco friendly packaging to separate them selves from mass produced chain store gear . Zerek Lures keep bringing out great lures. I have the Affinity Swimbait which I caught my 1st Cod on and a Tango Shad. After so much rain down here in the Shoalhaven South Coast NSW I would have thought there would more bait about. My last 3 outings have been donut sessions. I fished yesterday 3 hours run in tide, nothing, this morning 2 hours run out nothing. That's fishing. Did you catch a fish using this lure?

Perfect timing! I'm up doing the morning shift with a one week old baby, brushing up on your back catalogue of jack tips. Can't wait. I know it's all a bit weird with social distancing rules but are you planning any seminars again this year?

Awwww mate. That’s so beautiful the time with you’re little one. Nothing better than the months where they fall asleep on your chest or lie along your arm. Crazy lack of sleep days but so precious. I’m not sure about the seminars this season mate. I was only just thinking about it. I’ll see what I can come up with as an alternative if I can’t. Definitely got some ideas if they’re a no-go. But getting boys together to get excited for the season like that is hard to beat.

Nah mate. It’ll be fine maybe weed out the smaller models but anything round the 40 will be sweet

Ah sorry to hear about your hammy mate, my dad did his hammy on Fraser last year so I know how much it would’ve hurt. I play centre mid for Olympic u18 and still pretty keen on playing so yeah and hope your hammy gets better.

Hi from Singapore. I have been using the Zerek Live Shrimp for 2 years now for barramundi and have a few successes. I have bought a couple of these newer Absolut Shrimp purely for the cosmetics but after taking them out of the pack I am less than impressed by the stiffness of the tails, think I took them once out with no result. How do you reckon the Absolut Shrimp stacks up against the original Zerek Live Shrimp? Good looks aren't everything. Cheers.

Hi mate. I completely agree. Rerigging the absolute shrimp Weedless might make the difference I reckon. Hard to beat the oldy though eh.

I tried with size 1 weedless hook ( 5gram ) and it works like charm in the mangroves , heavy cover & drains fishing for jack , tarpon & barra.
