Yeah, I think that's what he said while he was in his Royal Court. I liked the moment when he Toured all over Europe and forced that guy to organize a Tournament. And when he finally took England back it was like a Legend! It is so sad he was Dead soon after.

I love this new update so much, there's so much character to it. I did a casual game, my prince goes out for adventure, roams around the world never marrying. Then out of the blue raises a son of wolves, who then falls in love with a random commoner. My prince then inherits the empire of my last character, converts the realm and passes it on to his son. There I find this son of wolves is soulmate and best friend with his wife, the same lady who he met after being adopted. Guys living his best life, and from a wild peasant to emperor is just fantastic. Best update so far, it really makes the world feel lived in.

That imprisoning thing really annoys me. I have over 40 intrigue and more troops than them, and they snap their fingers and I'm now in jail. Does something do anything to stop it besides leaving? It feels like it cancels my criminal contracts as well, I didn't know that people doing crimes needed to obey the law when asked to. It makes it hard to do a full robin hood kind of thing.

FYI Koifish, you need to get to a certain level of prestige to start getting king and emperor contracts. Best way to do that is to fight in a ton of wars. Then once you reach that level, if you visit their capital holding and speak to the town crier there’s a chance to generate a contract from them.

I just wrote a bunch of books, settled a bunch of border disputes, tutored a bunch of kids, delivered a bunch of artifacts and people, and collected taxes for some folks. And also accidentally took a delivery job in the Byzantine empire...while being Taoist (I was hanging out in China when I took it...) I was sure we were all gonna get killed by Muslims or Christians since we have no army (plenty of knights though,) but luckily by that point my Diplo stat is about 40, and I've got a ton of Diplomacy perks and a lot of Learning perks that make other religions hate me less, and about 15,000 prestige (not really much I can spend it on other than cryers, so it's accumulated) so shockingly no one gave me any trouble, since they all had super positive opinions of me. Then I accidentally took a job a Greek guy gave me to deliver something to some chick in Africa, which delayed my attempt at returning to the safety of Asia...luckily, a bunch of Zoroastrians and Duelists have taken a ton of land in the middle east, so after that detour it didn't take as long to make it back to regions where my characters religion isn't considered evil as I thought it would (it's custom and has the Gnostic tenent.) She's 78, so I was worried she'd keel over before we made it back and her son would have to take over, and he doesn't have those Diplomacy and Learning perks, but I think we'll be fine now.
