Nice! Now ya need to get her to give you the vox. Considering Twister for my BB. Does it feel tough, and solid, and allow rapid and complex patterns of pretty firm taps ? -BB I already know is tough. And I would bet it's something like "gorilla glass", like high-end phones, so stands up to some pretty heavy taps.

All of the above. The twister will not disappoint but the fighter gives ya more options (due to the dual concentric know action)

Very informative. I bet that MicroMonsta can almost replace having to lug a whole flagship keyboard, synth-wise. Is there a lot of overlap between the MPC and Blackbox and OctaTrack? Do you think of one or the other as the centerpiece?

Great question. Tbh. I keep telling myself to be concise and bring small stuff, but the sound quality (or aim there to) trumps logic. Depending on your specific sound, I’d say to always find any box’ sweet spot and learn how sound behaves on bigger speakers. If you do loopy atonal techno. The DFAM and Octa would be the route. If it’s melodic techno/house I think the MPC would be preferred. Also the workflow can determine what box suits your need. Not necessarily logistically but rather the ‘getting to a substantial idea fast’. Any genre has its own workflow. Picking the wrong box can frustrate and send you straight back into hamster wheel territory.
