Never sell out. Your content is so good and relatable. There are enough channels sending their rigs off to get top of the line stuff put on them get them back and go destroy them. Not realistic. Also yes for the fuel pump episode!

Fuel pump video on the 80's pump and the TD42 pump would be great, seeing the differences between the two and maybe the TD's injectors as well, now that we've seen toyota 80 series direct injection. Makes a big difference having someone who's an expert in their craft. So much to learn

So good mate. My engine 1HDT has 383000 on it and blows a bit of black smoke on cold start but runs fine and not lacking power, i have fitted a large front mount intercooler but i learn’t a lot. I run diesel power fuel additive every time i put fuel in but great stuff to know. Would be great also to see how the pumps are done so maybe do it if needed. Cheers and happy 4wding.

this exactly the content and info I was looking for!! Just came back from 20 days of desert crossings in Libya where we had very very very bad diesel. Rough startups with white smoke ... have the Patrol (ZD30) in at the mechanics and now looking at having the injectors serviced for sure! 300,000 km on the dot so deffo in for a service anyhow (plus ordering a RACOR prefilter for future prevention) cheers from Italy!!

Superb video, just don't say 'right' so often. Seriously though this was really good, well made and filmed and edited and heaps of respect to Sean, or Shaun for taking the time to explain the process and the work. I think most people who have and work on somewhat older diesel cars know about injectors and pumps, and this for me was fab. Would really like to see a vid on pumps, too. The joy of YT is the breadth of material and I've wached how injectors work and the two-stage process, and also somewhat understand the roto mechanical pump from watching some Bosch videos. Anything you could to to add to this, especially the boost compensation system would be really goood. I'm looking to add a turbo to a '92 Toyota diesel and general and specific knowledge is always a good thing. Will be getting my injectors serviced too and this was really helpful for the future. Thank you!!

You should to start running injector cleaner in your diesel, it really does make a big difference in longevity of injectors and impacts fuel economy. My 5.9 cummins used to haze at cold start idle, then I ran injector cleaner through it for 5 or 6 tanks and haze disappeared completely, my fuel economy went up 20% (averaged 650-670km per 65ltrs of diesel 28-30mpg not towing). Love the land cruisers, those thing are pricy here in canada, I'd love to get a diesel for my 91 hilux.
