James, great job. People don't understand the importance of looking at as well as cleaning there roof twice a year. Then when they get water damage it's the manufacturers fault for building junk. If you buy a new car and only put gas in it and never do anything else to it, it's not going to last very long. Like the old saying goes, Pay me now, or pay me later. 👍

It is really hard to start on something like that and know when to stop, the further you look the more you feel you need to do. I can understand the owners choice in getting another year or two out of it, they are expensive. The last new vehicle I bought was 2007. Stay safe and healthy.

Wow! All that damage could have been avoided by simply doing a roof inspection every couple months and sealing those suspected areas. Hopefully this video serves as an educational video to all RV owners. Thanks

im doing my 5th wheel roof right now thanks to your vids. the front fiberglass sheet is backed with some kind of cardboard stuff that is rotten. i am having problems finding something to replace it with that will bend over the top curve.

I saw a video someone did that said using a gooseneck connection like that on a fifth wheel is not a good idea, that it is very hard on the frame unless you are using something like the Goosebox. That true?

Surprised you even agreed to do this job. Lots of times when I ran my business & the customer said don’t want to spend what is actually required to do the job right it’s hard to get payment. Because you know when you start ripping these water damage units apart all the extra stuff breaks like you’ve shown and then they don’t wanna pay for it. IMHO

What I would give for a few weeks of fine weather, I could get so much done without having to clear everything away and cover things over for rain every few days or hours. I suppose it can get to be a curse when it gets so hot though. You need a platform arrangement to work off at roof height all around those trailers, working alone, it might be a safer option.

Not very courteous or showing respect for wanting your services to do that kind of work. I'd be weary at this point when it would be picked up afterwards (storage isn't free that I have ever found) and the bill paid for. You're a saint for even starting the work in the sun. SMH
