Objectively as someone who supports Carr, Derek Carr is not a top 10 qb right now. I’d place him somewhere between 15-18th. I do believe however that he can get to that top 10 status in Klint Kubiak’s offense. People need to stop going from one extreme to the other, plenty of qb’s and rosters who had no business being talked about before a season starts have made playoff runs and superbowls. I fully expect the Saints to win the division.

First, you have to define "Top 10 QB". Otherwise it's just subjective opinion where the haters can say no and the stans can say yes. You have to define it objectively so then you get a definitive answer when all is said and done. If the answer is passer rating, then yeah because he's already there. If it's total passing yards, then probably not.

None of these are bold enough. You gotta bring that "fiya" content, like another podcaster is fond of saying. Here is my bold take: By mid year the Saints offensive line will be heralded as the most athletic offensive line in the entire league. Stopping the Saints screen game will be every defensive coordinator's top priority. Even an old cliche will be resurrected, "You can't stop it, you can only hope to contain it."

I think he'll have a better season but with less numbers because our running game will be much better. He'll definitely be more efficient. My bold take is that we'll be ranked in the top 10 in rushing (if we bring Kamara back). I like the running back depth. As far as who I would cut, it'll be Ramcyzck. He wont be able to contribute at all.

This is the epitome of purgatory. Frustration but clarity as to what this team really is during the season, and then with a few tweaks in the off-season we're talking about playoffs and "Can Derek Carr be a top 10 qb?".
