Slick lookin' axe! The scales in particular were really snazzy. Also, the sickle/kama-style edge under the back spike clicked some kind of button for me that I didn't realize needed clicking.

Very cool but I’d think a hammer poll would be more useful on the back end instead of the spike?

Beautiful axe! Though, it being a survival axe, I’m not sure how well a rear spike would apply in a survival situation. I myself would prefer to have some kind of hammer face for striking things, like driving stakes. In addition if the cheeks tapered nicely up to the hammer face it would help with splitting up small rounds of wood. Still a wonderful piece and masterful work, great job!
