What's nice about duels is that the meta is very different than wild (usually). Cards that may be an instant dust may have more use in duels which can be fun for people who only open garbage cards. Happy to see Roffle trying it out

Funny thing about the eulogizer in triple blood scarlet before the titans miniset. Since titans can't be drafted and all the cards were for the plague archetype, the only titan buckets you could get were triple eulogizers, and I once finished a run with 13 of them at 9-3

@@oneblacksun yeah that one is the funniest to me, in the time I was gone this entire gamemode managed to emerge and then swiftly die, so for me it's like it never happend, at least it's apparently good for xp farming

Was on the stream for this and it was quite fun! Really love duels, it's a great mode and in my opinion the best way to get lots of gold in the game. Here's hoping that we'll get more duels content from Roffle

An observation: vampiric blood spends 3 corpses and heals you for 2 as expected from wording on the blade. (15:09) Hero power spends (UP TO) 3 corpses and heals you for 6 (06:33). That’s counterintuitive. Conclusion: wording “up to” means spending 1 corpse at a time triggering corresponding effects each time while “spend set amount” means spending corpses in one iteration and thus triggering corresponding effects once.

I've never got super into it myself, but every time I've played duels it has been pretty fun. Reallly high power game mode. The stuff that happens in that mode is absolutely nutty.

Also Unlocked Potential Warrior is so fun from when I watched Regis play it, but I dont think the right expansion for it are in right now unfortunately. Also I should add that all the banned cards cant be added to the starter deck, but they can all be drafted. Also, you kinda have to watch out for your life total a lot against some decks. Shaman can just randomly burst with 30 from hand, its nuts

E T C is very good in duels because when you collect a deck you are offered boxes after matches and the cards in them depend on the additions in your deck and in E T C you can add cards of any supplement and they will not be counted in your deck it is necessary if, for example, you are interested in one card from the supplement
