I hate to say it, but Bords is probably gonna get traded either during the season or at the draft. He's got skill and good offensively, but he's not elite. Grier will probably trade him for a young d-man with upside.

I would not be surprised if Smith spends some time in the AHL this season. It might be late in season to play in the AHL playoffs or for a few weeks to work on a specific aspect of his game. The end of season roster should be interesting if a number of the expiring contracts perform well enough to get traded.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing some Mack and granlund and will with tofolli. More so playmaker/shooter mix. May work out a more with distinguished jobs on ice. Idk, just something I first thought when signing Tyler. Make things as easy as possible. If all goes well, eklund takes over the granlund role if trade comes. Mack can move to full time center 3/4 through season. 50/50 it with granny before then for experience and guidance. Also I think granny may be that better two way forward Mack may be able to learn more from shift to shift in all areas of game. Granny also seems like a good vet to learn from.

I think putting Granlund and Celebrini on a line together kills your Center depth.
