Can We Beat The 45,000 RPM Skateboard Wheel Record?

Can we beat the record of spinning a skateboard wheel at 45,000? Only one way to find out.
We used our 60,000 PSI waterjet to spin a skateboard wheel at 45,000 RPM and it ended in many explosions because we also used a roller skate wheel and some fiberglass reinforcements.

You guys should use a jet of compressed air ( 50 to 75 p.s.i.) aimed at the *target* you are filming. It will help get clearer video images by blowing away the water vapor / mist from the cutting and relative shenanagan-ary that's going on in these videos.

Ggs my dudes 👊👌love popping on here and seeing the random stuff y’all do 😂 There is a slight problem with the angle that you hit the wheel, if somehow to time it right to slightly back away from the wheel as it’s revving up. Right now it looks as though the jet hits too hard and digs instead of assisting with spin. Anyway keep up the shenanigans🎉

To achieve a higher RPM you need to adjust the flow nozzle to move as the wheel grows or else it starts to cut into the wheel and causes weakness in the structure of the wheel then blows up.

Very cool footage man. You used very cheap bearings, as a skateboarder I know that Bones Swiss bearings are phenomenal, they will surely spin a lot faster if you guys ever do this again.
