Using Super Mario Maker to illustrate an idea is pretty clever, not gonna lie. I appreciate your creativity. Was there any chances of Zap Tap being possible to get? Or would that not help enough? It'd turn those double and triple hits into opportunities I think.

I do think it is possible to get Zap Tap in the Prologue. It would take a lot of time to get all the Star pieces, but it would probably help.

It would definitely be possible to get Zap Tap. It costs 10 Star Pieces, and you can get 5 normally, 3 from Rip Cheato, and 2 from Chuck Quizmo (or replace the Rip Cheato Star Pieces with Quizmo Star Pieces if you can get enough in the prologue). It would probably be possible to beat Master 3 without any RNG with this, since 9 damage each turn is probably manageable, especially with the Master taking 1 damage from Zap Tap each turn. Kind of crazy that nobody thought of this when this was discussed in the Glitz Pit months ago.

@@aheadsounds2522 Yes! You should be able to buy Volt Shrooms in south Toad Town. You can cook them into Hot Shrooms, but they’re useless for the fight because they don’t electrify you. I believe that you can make a profit by buying Volt Shrooms and selling them as Hot Shrooms, though.

There is a mod called 64TTYD which adds in mechanics that were in ttyd but not in 64 like super gaurding and even a PIT of 100 trials
