I'm a horse girl, I can explain terminology! The closest with all the saddles, bridles, helmets, and other supplies is a tack room. A closest with dry feed is a feed room. An employee who does general work, like feeding, mucking, harvesting, etc. is a stablehand. An employee who specializes in maintaining a horse's mane, tail, and coat is a groom An employee who specializes in the health and maintenance of a horse's hooves, shoes, and teeth is a ferrier. A roof area used to store hay is a hay loft. A large area meant for many types of riding exercises is an arena. It can be indoors or outdoors. A smaller, usually round or octagon shaped, fenced area is a training circle. It's typically used for working with a lead rope. A room used to groom and tack, or dress, a horse is sometimes called a prep stall. Ropes in the walkway are called cross ties. You attach them to a halter on a horse to groom or tack them. The area where horses just chill and graze is a pasture. There's a type called a dry pasture that has no grass. It's typically reserved for horses who have dietary restrictions.

Another perspective from Scotland as someone who has owned horses for almost 10 years ☺ Anything relating to teeth would be done by a vet rather than a farrier - they focus only on hoof care and shoeing. What you refer to as an 'arena' we would call a school (indoor or outdoor) if used for lessons, practice or fun. An arena would only be used in a competative context. For ridden and in-hand classes this would be a 'ring' instead of an arena for local shows. We call halters 'headcollars' and pastures are called 'paddocks'! Or just 'the field'

suggestion: get a prebuilt house in the sims and renovate it to the best of your ability! rules: you can rotate and move preplaced objects, but cannot remove them. you can add anything you would like and cannot change the wall or floor pattern. love your stuff!! 🥰

As a violinist and a fiddler, I can confirm that I use the exact same instrument for both. Also, this house reminds me of my old one, except a lot bigger, we lived on a farm, not a ranch, and we did not have animals, we had a lot of trees, far too many trees. But the decor is just sooo nostalgic to me. It was in Texas btw!
