FYI as a Chicagoan, the model of Sue at the Field Museum is also just a replica. The real bones like all the dinosaurs in there are kept in a climate controlled lockdown and replicas are molded from the actual bones. Also, Sues skull is actually crushed on one side as sediment collected on top of her so they reconstructed her skull using the undamaged side and mirroring it.

That is a really big cup of coffee. At one minute in good luck. My then five year old loved triceratops spin! We rode it three times while big brother and daddy went on dinosaur with a fast pass. Both my boys watched an in ride pov of dinosaur before we went to animal kingdom so that's how the boys decided if it was a go or no go. Younger brother loved it until the last few dinosaurs - no go. We had 8:15pm fast passea for Flight of Passage. I'm not sure if everyone was eating or leaving the park or heading to rivers of light, but there was NO WAIT in the fast pass line. In all with everyone else who had a fast pass at that time we may have waited 15 minutes (Including the FP queue), and we were ON THE RIDE!!! The regular line was 120 minutes. We were there at the end of August. Maybe folks were burnt out from the heat and were leaving the park. Not sure if it'll ever happen again, but we were simply amazed. When I was here in 2019, (finally coming back this fall, 2021), they were actually doing a simple procedure with a tiger!! So we got to watch that which was cool. I cannot remember specifically what was going on but I remember it not being anything serious. :) But I really did not know about the drawing classes. I did not even see that when we were there. For anyone who hasn't gone to extra magic hours in the morning at Animal Kingdom and experienced the early rush to Flight of Passage for themselves, this amazingly long line is nowhere near as intimidating as it looks. It does stretch into Africa, but it surprisingly moves really fast and I'd say the actual wait time is usually always 15-30 minutes shorter than what the sign says. Also, the last time I went, which was 3 weeks ago, the avatar body was missing from the end of the queue. The tank was there, but no animatronic inside. Is that only temporary? I hadn't heard of anything happening. I agree about Kali River Rapids. I only go on it because I can only go on Dinosaur so many times in a row before I get bored and all the other rides have insane wait times. It's way too short especially for how idle the line gets, there's almost no story, it does not really have any Disney magic, and there's not even any consistency with how wet you get...just about every time I go on it, I manage to avoid all the water traps while everyone else gets soaked.

If going on safari and learning about hyenas made you change your mind about them, I suggest watching YT videos on snakes, tarantulas and interesting insects, so you can change your mind about those too. I used to find tarantulas and snakes abhorrent but once I started watching videos on them, by people who either breed them or keep them as pets, it completely changed the way I see them and now I love them. I hope you or anyone else reading this will do the same.
