I was going to sell my food dehydrator as I’ve not used it for years but it’s now going to be repurposed for resin. Thank you so much for this x

Absolutely gorgeous 😍 Wow!!! I'm going to get a dehydrater like yours. I have a very large 9 tray one for food. However yours is perfect for resin work.

I actually bought a Dehydrator for my birthday in June because I kept thinking that that resin curing machine you can now get looks just like a Dehydrator. I was so surprise how quickly the resin cured in it 😲💗😲💗😲 The only difference to the curing machine is, from what i saw in a review, is that the curing machine has a cooling cycle So i want to get an air cube or so to add a cooling period after the dehydrator is done 🌬️🌬️ 🌬️

To cure resin I have mainly used an old heating pad & a plastic container over the top to dry resin. The same for tumbler using the heating pad under the tumbler on the spinner with a cut out cardboard box cut to fit over the tumbler. It works great & doesn’t take much storage. I do like the dehydrator idea!

That's great! I would be weary of ever using the machine for food again after it's been used with resin however.... just my thoughts. If you never use it, and wanted to convert it to resin only - more power to ya :)! Be safe 🌺 Be well!

Hi. I watched this video and immediately bought one, not exactly the same as yours! I did my first project at 40oc for 2 hrs, but didn't feel warm and was quite soft?! When the time has finished, does yours feel warm/hot? Wondering if there might be something wrong with mine 🤔

Hi Salina, I love your work and especially your tutorials as you explain everything as you go along and make it so easy to follow. Can I ask, did you put it back in the dehydrator again and if so for hoe long? I already have a dehydrator but have never thought to use it for resin. Thank you so much 😊

Beautiful work. If you use the dehydrator often, do you find it dries out your molds or may cause issues with the molds down the road? Thank you.

I have a food dehydrator it's one of the real old ones it's round and it has different settings on it I wonder what setting I would use like you know for fruit or beef jerky or whatever setting I should use and I wonder if it would even work I'm going to have to experiment with something small so I don't waste resin
@teaandart
@teaandart 2 жыл бұрын
hi thankyou for watching well I started with the lowest settings it was 35 C' as mine was a big so I turned to 40 C'. So start with lowest setting go for 1 hour and turn in off then see .
