I wouldn't be to worried about a 3 or 4 year old Corvette with 2 or even 3 owners. Maybe the first owner bought it at or near MSRP. Drove it for a while and seen that he can make 40k or so selling it. 2nd owner had FOMO so he bought it used drove it for a short time and sold it for whatever reason. Maybe they didn't really have the money or seen the market dropping and decided to sell it. 3rd bought it with only a 20k or 30k mark-up, now they are trying to get rid of it because they see how the economy is going.

@@KillerDiego03 because base model owners will sell their cars for the Z06 and ZR1. When the market gets flooded with something - prices fall.

I looked up a used C8 with clean record and the best I could come up with was a $63K 2021 1LT with 16K miles. The lowest new C8 is a 2023 1LT at MSRP ($67K) that has been sitting on the lot for 6 months.
@brethaughwout99535 ай бұрын
Dude asking $63k for the 2021 1LT is not in touch with reality. It's 4 years old with an expired warranty. You can buy a 2024 1LT for $5k under MSRP at this time. Brand new car with full warranty for $65k.

Great video. But next year C8s will be at the best prices. So many lots still trying to get rid of used C7 and C6 lol. Be patient is the key. C8s like all other vettes will be all over the place and just become another corvette in the streets. The illusion of the exotic appeal is fading quickly for many.

Speaking as a CPA, blame that on inflation mainly caused by the government's massive spending and Federal Reserve's monetary policies. Inflation is a hidden tax and literal theft by government through intentional devaluation of the currency and as a result, citizens' purchasing power. Therefore, the Federal Reserve's inflation target should be 0%, not 2%+ CPI. Anything more than 0% is theft by the government from the people. Not to mention, "2% CPI" is really 5%+ true inflation if you use an independent measure of inflation like Truflation or ShadowStats rather than the government's artificial CPI. The government's CPI metric is intentionally designed to leave out certain baskets of goods and services that Americans spend their money on, and disgraceful "hedonic quality adjustments" because it benefits government to underreport true inflation (to lower the real costs of paying huge government debt, and to limit increases to government payouts like social security).@@VetOnVettes

I put a 7 year and 70k mile GM extension warranty on my purchased new 2020 c8 z51 fe4 1LT and honestly this offers supercar levels of performance and driving experience. Warranty that runs to 2030 and 93k miles and transfers to the next owner for $75 for this sports car. The 1LT interior is far from a stripper and in my opinion offers nice luxury sports car interior. Only corvette geeks think the 2 or 3LT interior is a must have. JMO get the car. It’s a blast up in the mountains and as a daily driver.

Think it would still be 85k due to now way someone driving 41k miles in 1 year, 2 years ago. If it had like 20k miles maybe closer 2 75k. Like VetonVettes said people were tosing money on these so someone would buy for higher price back then.

What does salvaged title mean?
@VetOnVettes10 ай бұрын
Has been deemed a total loss by the insurance company. Meaning the repairs are beyond the value of the vehicle. A lot of times people will buy the salvage vehicles for pennies on the dollar and repair them. However, they tend to never quite drive right and body panels have gaps etc.
