I think you should focus on finishing the Supra with the engine it already has. Put the new 4 cylinder in another future project car like a Skyline R34 or Lancer Evo. Do what you want to do regardless. 👍

Awesome work with the body and everything else! I just finished building that same engine myself, and am in the process of figuring out what size car to put it in. I have the ability to make modifications to the exhaust and intake as you do, so im interested to see what you do. I think for your project, I'd modify the intake/exhaust.

You're very talented in CAD so I feel like electric is actually the way to go here, you can build/model a 2JZ and make sure an electric motor fits inside. You could even work out some other gearboxes. Your car is mostly plastic so weight shouldn't be a problem for the electric engine. Cheers!

maybe if you make a widebody of the supra the servo's and stuff can go a little more to the sides creating more space for the engine and exhaust

@@scaleaddiction almost any car with no space should have this its easier and more convenient in my opinion. right now im working on an electric rc hellcat but i need something to take in air to the motors because they get suffocated and overheat melting the plasitc around it but i also have the steering servos and some other stuff basically the size of that engine compared to the scale of the car, im just focussing on a smooth direct air flow pipe to the motor and out.

I'm not sure that redesigning the intake and exhaust is a good move, I'm sure some r&d went into the development of the existing components, changing them might not help the engine run correctly/smoothly. Good Luck, great videos, thank you.

​​​​@@scaleaddiction with the redesign. You can probably keep the servos as you could make the intake and exhaust smaller and redesign the chassis for the I4 engine to fit. So you could probably fit both the Toyan engine and the servos in. But just to make sure that you don't need to go into the effort of making a new chassis. Redesign the intake and exhaust and then see if it will fit and all the things will work well, and if not , do a redesign. It's up to you though. This build it becoming great now . Cant wait to see it up and running .

If you moved the servos out more then flipped them so the horn ends up in the same spot you'd have more room and still have air suspension

First fix the supra. Use this new bigger engine for an other project. Maybe something 4wheel drive. Like a Skyline / GTR / Evo / Inpreza. I thing this engine is way stronger and need all tires to get the power to the road

It has power, it also broke drive shaft and dog bone, I was using 3d printed dog bone till I got the metal one, but I will use the full power on dyno soon
