I wish I was about 14 again because I would love that horse. He looks like a blast to ride. I only rode bareback because I just didn't like saddles. Now I'm an old lady and can't ride at all.

@@leanneadams2549as someone who is obsessed with horses but has to use a walker to get around these days, please don't say things like this until you've been in that position. Telling someone whose body just can't anymore, that they just don't want to bad enough is just hurtful.

I'm certain that there's a perfect home out there for Trigs! He seems really sweet, and looks like he likes riding. Kudos to the previous adopters for realizing that the training he needed was beyond their comfort level. Returning a rescue can be a very tough decision to make, even if it is the correct decision.

He might make a great cow horse. He's quick and has energy, and that gait would make riding him all day a pleasure. Love his tongue. XD We had a TB named Oleo who had a malformed tongue and would flop it out to chew on it. Rode him bitless too because of his jaw formation. Hope he finds a great home!

What kind of gait is he? Is he Foxtrotter or Tennessee Walker blood? I don't see Tennessee qualities tho, maybe foxtrotter? In looking at him, he's looking more of a Foxtrotter. ❤🐎❤️

RH Farm & Rescue: Hello. He has an interesting way of moving. Maybe some Tennessee Walker mixed with some Missouri Fox Trotter and a dose of Heinz 57 horse. You and he get along well, especially since you are using only a halter and robe reins. I like your style. My Grandpa used to use a 3-foot long 2x4 to disciple horses. I hated that method. Much better the way you operate. Talk to them, pet them, reward them with snacks. Hope he gets a home. My first bridle /headstall for my horse was leather and the bit was the straight shanked U.S. Cavalry bit from way back. {I was in 6th grade when I got that horse. He and I were both "green". Then we tried a snaffle and that was horrible! No control, and downright scary trying to get him to stop running. My Dad showed a drawing / sketch of a mechanical hackamore to the plant engineer / welder / maintenance man, at the meat plant where my dad was an Inspector, and the man made us a mechanical hackamore from some scrap metal. I and my Heinz 57 horse used it for years. No mouthpiece. On the front was a bolt with threads and a nut that could be adjusted inward or outward for more pressure on the nose of the horse (for stopping or backing up.) The reins connected to a lever which was also the "chin strap" (like a "Curb bit"). That worked better than mouthpiece bits.
