I had to do some snow wheeling on the way to work this morning, except I was on the roadways in my F250 lol. Had to dodge vehicles abandoned in the middle of the highway, just to find out the boss was closing shop for the day since almost everyone else called off. Oh well, at least I got to play around in the almost 2 feet that fell last night. Still would much rather be doing it in the mountains though haha. Congrats on the Bronco!

Dear Shawn, our family enjoys your videos so much! And since I threw out my back a few days ago and have been bed-ridden, your youtube channel has done some of the babysitting for our 2y, who adores you. He is all about jeep trucks and a lot of his imaginary games are about "Shawn and his jeep gladiator". We looked up off roading jeep trucks and found you, just for the sake of our son at first, but we all got sucked in :D thank you for inspiring adventure in us :)

I'm sure someone else might have already mentioned it, but in your slow-mo montage your inside back tire was turning. That means you weren't actually using the trail turn assist. Your inside back tire will lock up so you can pivot on that wheel. Fun video.

Awesome content as always! After watching Lite-Brite and a few other channels I have really started to love the Bronco. The only thing that hasn't been cool is when the suspension gets modified and the tires get too big. Then things really start to break. I think the stock geometry for the Bronco is really amazing.
@sappyjohnson2 жыл бұрын
It depends on who is doing the mods. Some people on the Lite Brite channel don't seem to know what they are doing.
@TheStoryTillNow2 жыл бұрын
The issue is there aren't any good suspension kits out yet so people are hacking stuff together or using cheap kits that break stuff easily because the geometry isn't right. I'm waiting for a proper kit from a good company. Shouldn't be long now. The steering rack and tie rod weaknesses are another thing that has to be addressed by the aftermarket properly still.

First let me say I like off rode riding as I have had several types: 3 fourwheelers, 2 sxs with independent suspensions (Razors) , and 3 Jeep Rubicons. Last year I took the Razor to Moab and rode with some Jeeps and a Land rover, which had the independent front suspension, so I can say that I had a good perspective of each vehicle's trail handle-ling. The straight axles of the jeeps made the off cambers down hill along with my Razor ( yes, I'm independent but also lighter compared to those heavier vehicles.) seem like beginner slopes, but on several occasions the Land Rover nearly rolled over. Plainly it was obvious that the weight of the vehicle was allowing the front coil to flex way too much ( either Side). Other than those few instances, I liked the independent front suspensions...especially through the mud. No hate here...just want some to understand some limitations with heavy vehicles and front independent suspensions. Cheers

Yeah its definitely a big difference from a Jeep there. I think it really depends eat you want to do with it. I've seen these do some pretty impressive stuff so far.

I think if I wanted something comfortable (Non SFA) and could tow a small trailer while being a decent overlanding vehicle, I would look at the new 2022 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. It gets good MPG, has rear locking differential and sway bar disconnect. To me it’s a better blend between comfort with some off roading capability. Then again, I’m probably bias since I own a 392 and my wife drives a Sahara. Still a cool rig and happy to see Ford working hard!

The Bronco is beautiful and absolutely a good off road vehicle. However if you look under the hood, the engine area is a huge mess. It would be a nightmare to detail the engine. Ford must do something to clean up the engine bay. Keep all those exposed wires, sockets and tubes hidden and tucked nicely. Ford should also consider putting an engine cover to make it neat.

When discussing the bronco, I wish that you would have detailed the differences in internal size, storage, and how well you fit. I like the look of a wrangler, but honestly I need to loose at least 50 lbs to fit *sort of* comfortably in it. Meanwhile, toyota tundras have a bit more space, and dodge ram trucks have MASSIVE cab space that fit just about any bigger guy. They are also wider than a wrangler. So I'm curious were the bronco stacks up in giving comfortable space vs width, especially on trails.
@TheStoryTillNow2 жыл бұрын
One of the best things for me is that there's noticeably more leg room in the Bronco. However overall, this is still basically the same size as a wrangler.

Hey Shaun, great taste…you have the exact Bronco as I do! (Except you have 2 too many doors) I see you are looking for a winch solution, as am I. JCR just came out with a mount that doesn’t look too great, but it has the ability to re-locate the middle parking sensors and is lower than the Ford Performance/Warn solution. I’m thinking maybe if I re-locate the control box under the hood, I think the camera will still be doable, take a look! I can’t wait to see what you do with it! 👍🐴🐴🥌🤟
