@rmkilc2 жыл бұрын
While it is a huge jump, it is overly engineered which makes it too perfect. A Geo Metro could probably do this and not sustain damage if it hit the right speed.
@BruceCookfmx2 жыл бұрын
If eye balling it is engineering it lol and yes, a car could hit it but you still need to know how fast to go… if you came up short or went long it would be a write off.

Years ago just bombing my '72 Bronco down trails I noticed that I could get all four wheels off the ground and it would always land perfectly on all four wheels. The center of balance was right through the front seats. Later I owned a '74 GMC Jimmy. It was quite different. The nose always dropped in the jump and I'd land on the front wheels first. These were just little jumps along the trail. Nothing set up and spectacular what you have going on there, Shawn. But I was impressed by the old Bronco nonetheless.

The ramps are key for jumping vehicles thst are not built for more hsrdcore or harsh off road at more than slow speed.. The Issue is off road has surprises and more so at A fasterpace. The surprises and surprise air is what will break your truck or cause a crash or roll!. The weakest part involved will break first or worse.. I needed to replace my 4x4 and wanted one good for making off road capable like a prerunner for fater pzce in the desert but strong and with 4x4 for all kinds of trails. Not a mud truck but good in sand too. I asked race teams and liked Broncos my dad had one and I liked it. THey said go with a abroncoi with the TTB independent front. 4x4. I bought a used one that was not in bsad shape. I went with a 4 inch liftcut sand turned beam long trasvel kit with ysll shock mounts up front and a tower in the rear further front . It was frame to frame andI could use taller shocks for lots of wheel travel on s 4x4 . It was being made to run dual shocks in front but zi Asked what if I ran just one per wheel but aalittle bigger one. They said rhtat is better I went to a small good shock maker and a guy nasmed Brett loked at my susoention and said it lookrd good rhey could build some that would work well. He said go weigh it front sand rear seperate with . what wright or thiings I would want and need to carry. I did and went back and ordered my ahocks frim Brett KIng. I had done gears and lockers for 35" tires and installed and strapped the new King sssssshocks. I was stoked on how well they qorked on whooops and caught 6 or more feet of air off a surprise razer up the big dune at Pismo

@KFC Man I’ve seen this thought a few times now and is so bizarre to me. Yes, it would be so different. First of all, it’s more difficult hitting a jump with a specific spot you have to land in - it takes skill. Second, why jump something to surely destroy it? That wasn’t the point of the video.
