Hi Genna. I inheritated my Grandma's Singer hand wheel sewing machine circa 1940. My dad kindly cleaned it and got it going. He is very handy. Two things I discovered that could be helpful to you are that you might need to thread the needle differently to your modern machine eg mine was left to right and you might only be able to use the bobbins that come with the machine as others look the same but don't work properly. I hope you manage to get itngoing withou electrocuting yourself!

Oh! Oh! I run a Fb group for Lemair sewing machines in Australia (not that it matters but I was born in Wigan), which are mostly Brother rebadges and I'm just running through your video now. 6:25 Those are cams or as Brother called then "keys" which should slip over a post in your machine to do "fancy stitches"

10:44 Mahahaha! Your machine has an Australian cousin! Lemair sold an identical machine which I believe was the Brother Z 661. I've got to go BBQ dinner, I'll post more later
