As a former second baseman, trapeze was always the go to style. Like they said, there isnt much of a pocket, but thats exactly what you want at second, be able to get the ball out of the glove ASAP

When Davis Schneider moved up to the Blue Jays our announcers were kind of ragging on him for using this ratty old glove with "VUK" written on it that he found in the lost-and-found in the community centre in New Jersey where he coaches kids in the off-season. Turns out it was John Vukovich's old glove. His son Vince Vukovich was college baseball roommates with John Schneider (no relation to Davis Schneider), and he (Vince) recognized it. Also Daulton Varsho's dad played with John Vukovich, and Daulton got his middle name John for John Vukovich. We're VUKing it up hard. I hope that glove plays forever. At least once for every team. That's what the talking glove pixar movie is about. *PIXAR presents VUK. A glove story. He has no interest in Mike Trout's French harlot glove. He's a family glove. Sure he's been out of the game, but he was teaching kids' gloves how to play baseball, and now he's making a comeback in the majors.* Thank god the writer's strike is over and I can finally get paid for my professional writing talents such as that like what I just did right now.
