Willie Mays at 5 is crazy. He’s the goat, and how can Shohei be the goat without having 300 hrs? It’s simply incorrect

Judge or Witt both should win unanimously over Shohei. Not even a contest. Judge hit much better and played CF. And Witt hit instantly well and played elite SS defense while being as good of a baserunner.

Yes. Ohtani is a Hall of Famer right this moment. The best player in the history of the game; not only 3 MVPs, but 2 as a 2-way player and 1 as the only DH to ever win it, all 3 unanimous, when no other player has won even 2 MVPs unanimously before. Oh, and only one other player has won an MVP in both leagues. Yeah, Shohei is a HOFer.

For me its the fact that mlb network can say "hey shohei, you just became the only 50 50 guy, won a championship, and locked up your third unanimous mvp. Next year, you should win the cy young!" And actually mean it 😂😂😂

Aaron Judge is orders of magnitude better than Derek Jeter. Derek Jeter is statistically the worst defensive player in the history of baseball.

Please stop including Joez in these videos. He has absolutely no baseball knowledge outside of the Yankees and he makes these videos unbearable to watch

This is why Jordan is the Goat, everywhere he went it was chaos. He needed police escorts everywhere on earth, like Michael Jackson. Lebron not on that global level.
@bigpictureguys841521 сағат бұрын
They need to change the names of these awards or add a 2nd award. Skenes over the Jackson’s is ridiculous. Have a best statistical award and a “of the year” or “most valuable”.
@bigpictureguys841521 сағат бұрын
Rose saying Jeter is a below average defensive shortstop is accurate but he’s not a below average short stop. It’s a two way position & being a hall of fame hitter is vastly more important than being impeccable on defense. Look at Volpe, he’s great defensively but one of the worst hitters in the league. Therefore he is a below average shortstop
@bigpictureguys841521 сағат бұрын
15:21 I’m a Yankee fan who hates most Yankee fans. You can’t have an intelligent factual conversation with half of them because they just regurgitate the rings argument when evaluating best player. Judge is clearly demonstrably better than here
@ObscuraDeCapra21 сағат бұрын
Even the idiots that keep no-brain HoFers like Barry Bonds out for stupid-ass reasons (he had HoF career before he even started juicing) would vote Shohei in, without hesitation, if he somehow ended up playing a total of three partial games over the next three years just to hit minimum eligibility. What's truly scary for everyone that isn't the Dodgers is the fact that this dude's likely going to come back fully healthy next year.
@bigpictureguys841521 сағат бұрын
Longevity is a major factor in hall of fame merit. Barring injury of course shohei WILL be a hall of famer. Is he one right now? Of course not.
@bigpictureguys841521 сағат бұрын
6:48 of course mlb would change the rules if shoehei is never the same. They’ll let the guy avoid being suspended while investigating potential gambling violations 🤷🏼♂️.

yeah his impact on the game alone is a consideration...., plus his productivity solidifies it. pitching on a good team like the dodgers, i dont see how he does not win over 10 games every year and i do not see how he doesnt hit over 30 homeruns every year for at least another 4 years if not 5 more years. this is coming from a guy that was betting against him this year...........
