Hello LadyShelab, One of the devs here! Thanks so much for playing and sharing the game. Hope it was as fun for you as it was for us watching you play. Hopefully, you'll get all the mushrooms on your second try! :D

Your windmill only gets food from the wheat to the right of the windmill. You would need to upgrade the windmill to collect from more locations like upgrading it to collect wheat from the left of the windmill. There you go, now you got it.

I would have morphed a land tile in the corner where the water is to place a cannon that could cover all 5 tiles of the corner if it would let you morph a water tile into a land tile. You won't know if you don't at least try it.

I think the thing that hurt you the most was not noticing there was 2 enemy paths. The second thing I think was morphing a bunch of fields that don't do anything because you don't have the upgrades to make use of all the fields so more attention to the effect range of the farms would probably be helpful. All in all though, good job. It's easier to notice things by observing. I learned first hand you don't think clearly or effectively when recording. Not sure why my brain shuts down when recording but maybe that's just me.

I think this is the first time I have ever played a tower defence game with a fog of war, it certainly made it a very disconcerting experience! I am no stranger to double or triple paths, but needed to look out for the double set of monster starters since the paths themselves were obscured. I was morphing more to get the card out of the way than anything else, that double placement was more trouble than it was worth! 100% learned a lot on that try and was glad that I managed to squeak a victory!

@LadyShelab that makes sense. To be honest I can't think of any tower defense games I've played that had a fog of war. There was 1 that I had to uncover areas like a fog of war before I could place a tower but it didn't obscure the map it was just a transparent cover that made it darker where I didn't uncover but I was still able to see the whole map. Those kinds of games are the kinds I'd play if it was free but wouldn't actually buy them.
