Similar to any 2 rakaat prayer except for the takbiraat. 7 total takbir for 1st rakaat and 5 total takbir for 2nd rakaat. Thats all. The khutbah is not compulsory

You start the prayer normal. He said that you then say 6 Takbir before you read Surah al-Fatiha. Then you pray normal as you would pray any normal prayer, then when you stand up for the second Rak'ah, you say 5 Takbir before reading Surah al-Fatiha. According to many scholars those extra Takbir should be done with Raful-Yadayn (i.e. raising your hands).

I've always prayed Eid salah like this: In the first rak'ah after starting the prayer with Allahu akbar, we would do additional 3 takbirs. In the second rak'ah we'd do the additional takbirs before ruku. but brother Zakir said to do the second rak'ah takbirs before Surah Fatiha? Can anyone explain if it's because of praying at home?

This is not because of praying salah at home,but this way of praying salah is considered the best as it is sunnah of Prophet(pbuph) and is being praticed in many places including makkah and madina.
