I think those of us who keep up with what you're doing are noticing the fact the in house growth is the first step to admitting you need another set of eyes on the amount of work you do when you're not driving. I think it also helps to have a strong family between you and Jen to promote you being able to go forward with your goals because we saw the extra kiss you gave her, tough guy!

Regarding the infamous rusty wheel, it would be good to auction it with the proceeds going to a worthy charity of your choosing Steve. I hope Chris has success in saving the drop deck trailer for the future growth of FSC Trucking! Keep on trucking Steve and stay safe.

Hey Steve! Long time viewer here (going back to the FSC Speed Shop days, toward the beginning of your trucking content), and yes, it's great to see that wheel finally replaced. Nonetheless, I enjoy all of your videos, and everything you're doing makes good financial sense. I think you'd loses some of your agility as a business person if you were editing every video before you got onto the next thing, so release the older ones as you can and keep on trucking. I think bringing Chris on was an excellent decision as well. He's a true asset, and it makes the expense of maintaining a shop a better investment to have someone working there while you're on the road. I'm sure it would be cheaper to rent some piece of land for a lay-down yard if there wasn't anything going on there most of the time. I wish you continued success and growth for your channel! Thanks for all the great content!

There are thousands of Navy veterans who are very fimiliar with them. Myself included. We had to chip down to steel or aluminum our entire destroyer before leaving for VN in 1966. I do not like media blasting due to the fact that it get everywhere and the metal requires more prep for paint. I have everything chemical or acid bath stripped and its ready to prime when it comes back from the dipper. The cost of chemical dipping is usually cheaper compared with the labor cost of having an employee do it in house using traditional methods.

Wow. The truck looks amazing!!! The rims look really good especially since you had them polished. It looks great with the bumper and fenders with the box behind the cab. Now, about that mud flap………. lol!!! Forget using that needle scaler. It will kill your hands and wrists and wreak havoc on your hearing. Rent one of those big air compressors that the municipal guys use on the road crews to drive their air tools and jack hammers. Use a 2” hose with a good sandblaster with a coarse grit(black oxide) and it will take everything off that trailer faster and cleaner. It will get down to bare metal fast and leaving a nice texture for the new paint to grab onto. It will also punch through and weak spot on the trailer so you will know where to weld back up. It’s way better than that smaller. That is for small little jobs and not an entire trailer.

Hey Steve, just wanted to say that one solution for that step-bed trailer frame might be using a Rust Coat Metal Primer (RCMP) on it. I once saw a guy who restores old military trucks like the old US Army Deuce-and-a-Halfs and Five-Tons use an RCMP on the back half of a frame and rear axle he was working on. Supposedly, a proper RCMP, after needle-blasting or sandblasting bonds with the rust present on exposed metal, protecting it, while also acting as a metal primer so the metal can be painted. As a chemical, the RCMP I saw looked a lot like milk, with the same watery consistency -- but it covered really well with only a paintbrush and no PPE needed. Just thought I'd give you a heads-up on that, while also commenting that Orwell looks really good for his age, with those shiny new shoes on. Regardless, loving the motivation to grow, and looking forward to seeing all the new stuff you got coming for us. Keep the rubber on the road and the hammer down, and we'll be watching.
