Thinking back to my buddy explaining tarot, if anyone ever tried using them to explain matter of factly about someone or something, then they aren't doing tarot card readings, they're just bsing through their teeth. He explained it to me as being much more subjective to the readee, where the tarot card reader explains the cards and their meaning, and it's up to the person who's being read the cards to interpret the cards how they see fit
