This summer I've been toying with making popsicles for my dog, the ones he liked best are just diluted organic watermelon juice (1 part juice, not from concentrate, to 2 parts filtered water, so it's not too sweet). He also really liked ones I made from low sodium organic bone broth (again 1 part broth to 2 parts filtered water to dilute the broth). It would work with any type of broth (chicken, beef, mushroom/vegetable, etc.) but it's best to use the lower sodium stuff because all the sodium in store bought broth is dangerous for your pet's health (which is why I also diluted it). I've also tried the store bought doggie sundaes (pretty sure I got the same kind Jade preferred) but he wasn't a fan and TBH, I worried that he might get a brain freeze from licking the solid sundae :/ since they are really solid, not soft like ice cream. Also, the sundaes do not actually taste like beef (I gave it a little taste, I was curious), it tasted kind of cardboard like and had a gritty or 'mealy' consistency (just in case anyone's interested).
