What ever you do with it, make it go faster. Here in Sweden, most of these are now turned into "(class) A-Tractors - basically the Swedish version of "sans permit"-vehicles for kids 16 years or older, to drive before they can have a drivers licence and drive a real car, meaning the "A-Tractors are only allowed to have a top speed of 30 km/h (18.64114mph). They are the curse of the Swedish country roads and I hate every signle one of them - to compansate this, please make this Volvo go FASTER than it normally did, instead of the agonizing opposite. I have the same engine in my 744, couple of top tips to keep it alive: -Replace the timing belt as soon as possible as this is an interference engine! -Check the condition of the oil pump gear, some were a kind of plastic and have deteriorated over time Optional: cut the balance shafts belt (1 belt, 2 balance shafts) and don't replace it, it has been known to snap and destroy the timing belt with it, destroying the head in the proces (+ you don't really need the balance shafts, purely for comfort). Please save this Volov (block), it is very desirable amongst Volvo fans!
