When I was watching the race the other day I honestly thought the problem in the heat was not so much you but the set up of the car. In the B main you definitely was starting to get dialed in and you ran real well in the A that was a pretty solid field you were racing against.

You did great in the A main coming from so far back.

I watched both nights on Flo. By the A Main you had the car redialed in and you drove it from 20th to 11th for the hard charger award. Nothing bad about that. Keep up the good work. ✌✌

Great job. Remember, patience, composure, learning to deal with any given situation at any moment, will lead to finding the mark. The smoother the throttle control, like the eb and flow of the tide, makes transitioning one's position easier. There are several top tier drivers who, when one watches, seem almost flawless, they maintain a steady line throughout any race, even when set back. Then there are drivers, top tier, who are always racing as if their britches are on fire, yes, winning etc. but, always on the edge. Racing doesn't need to be on the edge, at least in this genre. Kind of like when you're on the road traveling and one see's a few vehicles several times on the same path and they always seem to be in a hurry but in reality the destination is the same........Steady Eddy in the long run may nots always get there first yet gets the best bang for the buck. Not suggesting to put it on cruise control, just evaluate, make changes when it's time. Once again, great job. Keep it simple on self evaluation, move on. WE as your beloved fans know and can see frustration. We also know you are always working hard to get through these moments, stay focused, Rome burned in a day but was not built in one......

Tanner I really don't have comment to make. But after watching your last two post I do have a question. My question is are you going to be a race car driver or a blogger?

I did notice that you did a lot better in the A on the slick like you used to say that you preferred the slick track. I thought it looked like you were finding the rythem that you and the 18t needed to get around the track the best that you two could. Compared to last year you are already starting off way way waaaay better. I believe that y'all will find out what this new chassis needs to go fast and pass and most of all Win. Thank you Tanner for sharing this video with us. May y'all continue having a good one. Have fun take care

I'm not a driver, but speaking as a fan who has seen quite a few races at Tulare, it is a tough track. I can imagine how difficult it must be to find consistency there. I'm excited to see you race at Douglas County and Willamette in June.

The thing about Tulare is coming off of turn 2 on the bottom down the back stretch stays the tackiest for the longest time of the race...you have to take advantage of that. roll the top entering 1 then diamond come off on the bottom of 2 and use the moisture down the back stretch. Watch the video..Tulare is like that 90% of time. Good Charge from the back.. Good luck this season!!

It looked really slick. Nothing really built up on the top. A bit too slick for me.

Hey Tanner, you should come and race at Eagle Raceway sometime. It’s a very fun track and I race go karts there. If you do decide to come you have to bring your 305 motor. Thx

You did well buddy.👍 That B main, with you coming from the back of the field right up to the top 10 was great fun to watch. Not to mention, if they gave an award for the best and fairest, sportsmanship, you'd be the top contender. Keep up the great work, but more importantly keep having fun and being a great sport. 😉

Kiddo, great recovery after the first night. As fans we don't know the issues you might be having with the car or track. So these videos fill us in. Early in the season. You might mention when you switch to the new tires. It will be interesting to see how the adaptation goes.

It looked like you were finding something down low coming off turn two. You made up a lot of ground every time you hit that spot. I hadn't heard the term "character" to describe a track. Back in the 70's and 80's Terre Haute, IN had a lot of character. Probably why they called the action track. Had to re-weld the headers after any race there.
