We clearly have different views of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God, and works in perfect union and harmony with the Father and Son (Tri-unity). Hence the Holy Spirit cannot contradict the Father or the Son, neither can the Father or the Son contradict the Holy Spirit. If we truly believe that ALL SCRIPTURE is breathed or inspired by God, then we are to reject Women preachers because the Bible clearly proscribes or forbids them from preaching. Asserting that the Holy Spirit uses her to preach to me is the same as saying that the Holy Spirit acts counter to God. Please rethink this.

This is a future prophecy that Peter was quoting from the book of Joel and isn't about the church. Study the whole book of Joel in context because context is king. This is also taking Galatians 3:28-29 completely out of context and I have heard this way to many times to justify women pastors. @@melissap9416 Actually this is my reply for another person in this same video I just share here just go through it and sorry for my poor grammer English is not my first language as I already said in my POV and most of the scholars it is a situational instruction as like other instructions which we are not following (may be some denominations follow it but generally speaking) now and it's not a rule of Christianity as the only primary rule is to love others as you love yourself and then to follow JESUS as he is the way to HEAVEN and then the basic principles (Worshiping GOD, No to idol worship, To obey our parents , Not to lust , Not to murder ,Not to steal) ...eg: head covering during prayers, wearing jewelries If we look into Apostle Paul's letters then most of the time he repeatedly wrote about the things I mentioned as primary rules which we have to follow (those are must follow principles) then at times he wrote some instructions to follow for that church that we consider situational instruction as those have no effect on our actual faith in LORD JESUS.....if it is abt salvation of any person the whole heaven will rejoice for the transformation of a single person whether it is brought by women or men they don't care abt it....but the primary thing is to spread the gospel i.e,love of JESUS I hope you got my point or what I'm trying to say .... situational instructions are different from actual customs and for every era thre must be situational instructions we get from our elders coz these instructions differ time to time ....the verse clearly shows the male dominant over female at that time so Paul don't want this to cause any issues within the Church In another verse also Paul mentions like this ( I think in Corinthians) there he wrote like women only ask things with her husband in her house which clearly reflects the mindset of 1st century society that husband is higher than wife.....but in this era we know (and respect)that both men and women are equal Situation instructions have nothing to do with faith but those are how to deal with the society whereas primary rules are need to be followed to be with CHRIST our Saviour

Most of us are confused with what Paul said but the Holy Spirit anointed all disciples in pentecost. From that day, God can use anyone He wants regardless of his gender. But woman must be careful while preaching. I heard a testimony where a Lady who never preach have been used by an angel to spread the Gospel in a village where no one knows about Christ and many people gave their lives to Jesus. @@zacharyheinrichs132 Br listen and obey to what the Bible says. When the Bible says that the woman can have spiritual gifts and prophesying allow that to happen. When the Bible says that a woman is not supposed to teach in church, obey that. Obey all that the Bible says. And think in terms of what the Bible wants and not in terms of what we as human beings would like to think. The Bible says that woman is not supposed to teach because it is Eve who sinned first and hence woman is designed weak spiritually and hence is not designed to speech spiritual things. Just obey bible fully and not part in part using our limited mind.

The bible hasn't stopped women from preaching, it hasn't stopped them from exercising their gifts, they should but not in the church. When you meet on the Lord's day to worship it should not be a woman in front teaching men. Titus tells them to teach the young women. Secondly, just because it produces results doesn't mean it is good. I mean the ends don't justify the means, ex. Moses hit the rock and it produced water (it worked)...yet God was upset with him for doing that, it worked but he disobeyed God.

To understand the scripture, We need to first place ourselves in hands of the writer, Why was he writing this, To whom was the letter dedicated..? This issue about the women preaching, Paul wrote this just to address the problems in The Church of Ephesus, That's why he wrote this to Timothy. (The pastor of Ephesians) Not to stop all women in the world preaching but to warn them for making orderliness in services. Paul himself worked in ministry with different women (Lydie, Priscilla...). There is no any division when it comes to delivering the good news of Jesus christ our Lord

Agree. Also the time when this was written was one of terrible persecution. Heads of Churches were dragged out by mobs and beaten to near death (as we read in the Book of Acts). Imagine what more would have been done to any female head of the Church? What wud a mob of brutal, ungodly, anti-Christian men do to a minority Christian woman? Foxe's book "Foxe's Christian Martyrs of the world" mentions how female Christians were treated during persecution - before the regular execution (which was common for both men & wmn), the women were additionally stripped and hung in front of a crowd. No wonder Paul did not want to put them in the frontline. This might hv been one of the reasons for his writing so.

Also I’d like to add, that there was idol worship typically by women of the “Goddess Diana” during that time, and Paul, like you said, wanted to warn the church of Ephesus and not allow women to preach there, due to the risk of orderliness in services.
