I am Pastor of a small church and just a couple of days ago I had a female "pastor" who is new to town, ask me my thoughts on this subject. I shared with her what the Bible clearly says, and she responded with arguments of what people and institutions say. As soon as one starts arguing for the authority of people and institutions over the authority of the Bible, they should realize they are wrong. It's not about men versus women, but about submission to the will of God.

Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God. In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge's verdict could not be altered or appealed. A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting. A Judge was REQUIRED in scripture to judge only the hardest of cases. Refusal to accept a Judge's verdict on any matter, resulted in execution, according to Deuteronomy.

@@8784-l3b So your argument is that if anything is allowed in the Old Testament, then it is allowed in the New Testament? The sons and daughters of Adam and Eve got married and had children. Do you believe that is still allowed? The Old Testament says "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth", but in Matthew 5:38-39 Jesus says, "You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. "Eye for an eye" is no longer the law of the land. Do you realize that the word "testament" refers to Covenant (binding agreement). So the Old Testament/Covenant requirements have been fulfilled through Jesus and we are under a New Testament/Covenant! In any authority structure, whether by God or man, the orders are to be followed until completion, or a new order is given. Jesus embodied the completion of the Old Testament and the new order of the New Testament! When Christ died for our sins, he put an end to the entire sacrificial system of the Old Testament - because the sacrifice of all those animals and the performance of all those rituals in the temple or tabernacle were pointing toward a great, final sacrifice described in Isaiah 53 when the Messiah comes. So hundreds of commandments and rules regarding animal sacrifices and priestly activity are brought to an end - “fulfilled,” as Jesus says in Matthew 5:17. By Jesus’s life and death - as our final sacrifice and our final high priest. Hebrews 7:27 "who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself." In Matthew 28:19 we read, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”. Jews and all the other thousands of people groups on the planet are supposed to be disciples. So the time is passed for God’s focusing primarily on Israel as his redeemed covenant people, which he did for two thousand years. “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke 22:20). The implication this has for the appropriation of the Old Testament laws is that all the laws which had as their design a ritual distinction between Israel and the nations have come to an end because those nations are now being folded into the very people of God, and the cultural stumbling blocks are being removed - like physical circumcision, like food and dietary laws, like the weaving together of two different fabrics that you’re not supposed to wear in order to show that there’s a distinction between Israel and the nations. Jesus says explicitly in Mark 7:19 that all foods are now clean for you. Deborah was not a Pastor, she was a Prophet, which women are allowed to be in scripture. There are important distinctions between the two. Yes, she was a judge, but making rulings in a court is NOT the same thing as being a Pastor or teaching men in church. The following two verses are quite clear on the subject: 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church." 1 Timothy 2:12-14 " And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression." As I have evidenced above, when there is an alteration to a rule from the Old Testament to the New Testament, it is the updated rule we are to live by! Galatians 3:10 says, "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”). Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

They stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, before the leaders, and all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying, “Our father died in the wilderness, yet he was not among the group of those who gathered together against the Lord, in the group of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons. See my comment in chief above, but does this permit men to 'exercise authority' over women? I think not. Our authority is the word of God, and we handle it as the Bereans did: searching the scriptures, not to confirm our post Roman Catholic church culture, with a 'leader' instead of a community of servants, but to find where we must follow it and not our culture that deprecates the gifts of women if they don't match our cultural prejudices.

@@StandUp777 Pastoring is not a gift, it is a role. “This is a trustworthy saying: “If someone aspires to be a church leader, he desires an honorable position.” So a church leader must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money. He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church? A church leader must not be a new believer, because he might become proud, and the devil would cause him to fall. Also, people outside the church must speak well of him so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the devil’s trap.” 1 Timothy 3:1-7 NLT Paul opens with saying that someone can aspire to that role, and that person desires a noble task. He has also already stated in the last chapter that women should not teach men, and thus this role is strictly for men. Jesus is the good shepherd, and he uses some men to tend to his flock in the Biblical role of overseer/shepherd.

We have overseers who help us by teaching, organizing, prompting pastoral care of each other...there is no 'one-man circus' in the NT at all. The NT documents show men and women together engaged in the life of the church, the gifts of the Spirit are not sex-differentiated. Our current habits have produced the lazy Christian in droves, not a group all studying the word and discussing it, testing our ideas against it like the Bereans.

Everything was going pretty good until he asked if anyone held objections to women preaching, I was the only one who disagreed. Sadly, my husband and I were given no option but to leave our church because we held to the view that scripture teaches that women are not to be pastors and hold this teaching authority over men. At first we thought we could continue in fellowship there by 'agreeing to disagree' on this issue but things were made clear when we raised an issue on false teaching being brought via the lady pastor. They would not countenance any questioning of the pastors leading and we were ' out of order', causing disunity and failing to display the fruit of the spirit. God has since brought us into fellowship at a Biblical church and we know without a doubt that God had his hand on us. We must pray for those 'trapped' in churches that practice error that the Lord gives them the courage to be Bereans and not be harmed by personal attacks coming from the leaders of such churches.

Each member having equal value and importance (One God, three persons), yet each one playing a specific role. As such men and women have equal value, but in God’s perfect design have been assigned different roles.

I'd avoid any church with a 'pastor'. Find one with a community of serving elders who are humble, kind, knowledgeable, both men and woman (see Titus) and not lovers of money: check the cars they drive on that one! Find a church where all are encouraged to exercise and develop their gifts, where there is real teaching: you know with workbooks, readings (of related articles and papers), eager learning of Greek to read the NT it its first language. The check on teaching is if young people get to college age and they know their Bible, the creeds and what they mean and can answer the 7 basic questions in ordinary conversational language: why do you believe in God? Why are you Christian? Why do you read the Bible? Did Christ rise from the dead? Why do you attend church? Why is there evil and suffering in the world? and Doesn't science disprove the Bible?

This could be the reason for so many divorces today. The woman wants the authority over her husband.
@heyjaja72 Жыл бұрын
Wow. Great example. One study found that whoever is the bread winner is usually considered head, not gender. They also found that when a woman makes more money than her spouse (is superior) she no longer desires him. So yes, when woman attain this power or perceived power, it will most likely end in divorce. Obviously there are .ore factors involved but that is definitely true what you said
@cryptojihadi265 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Even if they don't claim to want to rule over their husband, the "equal" to each other lie also creates divorce. Nowhere in the Bible is there allowance for arguments in the household. The man should seek his wife's counsel and get her input, as God can certainly speak through her, give her wisdom and additional insight he might lack, but that is not an opening for her to ARGUE her point or FIGHT for what SHE wants. Men are predisposed to both defend and please women. Paul mentions this as a reason not to get married as the man's primary desire will be to please his wife as opposed to focus on the ministry and serve God. Also, what was Adam's sin? He listened to his wife(out of a desire to please her) and NOT the command of the Lord. So the idea that women need to fight and argue with their husband or be trampled upon is absurd. But yet there is so much strife in Christian homes, not just worldly people's homes, because of this false teaching that the husband and wife are equal in their position in the marriage. Two headed creatures are always a gross mutation and of course never fair well, so it doesn't work in nature, or any organization, especially the home. Even Jesus is subordinate to the Father, and ONLY did His Father's will, and He's perfect, so His own will would be perfect, yet he chose to be submissive and obedient to the Father's will.
@rommelsalar7337 Жыл бұрын
Because as early as the beginning of time, woman’s desire is to rule over authority with man. See Genesis 3:16 when God instructed women to have their desire be under men’s, but nature of women is to do the opposite.

Women in the Bible with ministerial calling: Apostle Junia (Romans 16:7) Prophetess Deborah (Judges 4:4-5) Prophetess Miriam "Mary" (Exodus 15:20) Prophetess Huldah (2 Chronicles 34:21-22) Prophetess Anna (Luke 2:36-37) Pastor Priscilla (1 Corinthians 16:19) Deacon Phoebe (Romans 16:1-2) Yet, somehow, people still assume women cannot be Pastors. There's five clear examples of women holding a role of higher authority than a Pastor and another who was a Pastor in the Bible. What? You just skip over that when reading the Bible?
@ryanbussell246 ай бұрын
each of these can be broken down to show they're still not approved... Romans, for example, simply says she was well regarded among the Apostles, not that she was an apostle.. They knew her and she had a high reputation.. Deborah was only given power because the men in the nation at that time were weak and not obeying God. It was a very bad time for Israel. Had any other man been worthy he would have been selected. We can continue down through scripture in FULL context and see they're not Pastors, etc..
@Man.of.God306 ай бұрын
@@ryanbussell24 Never did I state they're all pastors. Moreover, how far do you go to twist Scripture to accommodate your belief? Regarding Junia, I understand the debate for there is not much detail written about her; yet, the rest of the women with ministerial calling have a full account on their story and that's not even discussing all women used such as Sara, Rebecca, Leah, Rachel, Ruth, Queen Esther, Mary, Joanna and Mary Magdalene, etc. Many men were called in times when Israel was in great rebellion. Do they not count? Have you read not about the Prophet Samuel, the Prophet Jeremiah or men like Jonah and Hosea? Which of the Prophets were called because men were great and obedience was flourishing? On the contrary! Yet, you state women like the Prophetess Deborah were not legitimate b/c men were weak and rebellious; despite the fact, that through HER, God called a man to liberate Israel from Canaan. So, were there men to be used or not? God still called Barak. Even so, Israel's sin was not as terrible until the time of the kings and the Prophets then, that we know of, were men such as the Prophet Isaiah and the Prophet Amos - do they not count since Israel was way worse in comparison to the time of the Judges? Which, none of these male Prophets held such role for the King of Israel and Judah were the ones who judged cases and made rulings. Only a woman, Deborah, was elected by God to be both a Prophetess AND a Judge. What? Did God make an error? Go down the list, and actually read, how God used these women as He does with any man He calls. The glory is not of the vessel, but of Him who fills it, be it man or woman. Don't change Scripture, simply b/c YOU find fault or error in what God has done, does and will always do for HIS glory and not mankind's. If you wish, continue down the list - considering the full context of the female vessel used by God. Truly, I'm curious to hear how far people go to change Scripture. Men are called to be Pastors, such as women, yet I've given a list of women with most having a higher role of authority than ANY male pastor. How so? The Bible has the answer, but so many DON'T understand, which is why His people perish from lack of understanding.
@ryanbussell246 ай бұрын
@@Man.of.God30 I don't need to twist scripture.. I can clearly read 1 Corinthians 11 and 14. I can read 1 timothy 2. Titus 1 and 2. And we could go into a LOT of differences.. New Covenant vs Old Covenant. The NT church has different rules than the OT.. This could easily eliminate Deborah, Rachel, Ruth, Esther, etc. A judge is not a pastor. Paul also never says a woman can't speak in prophesy. God selected Deborah at that time because there were absolutely no other options available. He had options with Samuel and Jeremiah, etc. In having to select Deborah there were no other options. Zero. But Deborah still had to answer to a man. Even if she didn't, one exception doesn't invalidate the rule. Especially if God makes that exception. God absolutely can and does use women to do many things. No one is arguing they can't lead other women or children. But they are clearly, multiple times forbidden from having pastoral leads over men. You can't be the husband of one wife if you're a female. You can't ignore 1 timothy 2:12-15. God can and will use women to do great things. But they do not and can not meet the qualifications listed in the NT to be pastors over a church.
@Man.of.God306 ай бұрын
@@ryanbussell24 I'll restate it for a third time: not all of them were pastors. A Prophet does not equate a Pastor - different ministry (same with being a Judge. Theyre different). Yet, one has a higher spiritual authority than the other. Its written: "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." (1 Corinthians 12:28). Paul never said that a woman ought not to lead, teach or speak in a congregation. If that were true, than the Prophetess Miriam who, alongside her two brothers, was used to lead Israel out of Egyptian slavery, the Prophetess Huldah who taught the High Priest, other priests and King of Judah the Law of God, and the Prophetess Anna who spoke to the congregation about Christ would all have been in the wrong. However, they were not, for it was the Spirit of God in them that operated and moved. What Paul explained, which he didn't invent, was in accordance with what God established from the time of Adam and Eve after their transgression. That a woman, NOT women, would submit to HER husband, NOT the entire male sex, in and out of the Church. This does not include nor obligate the Spirit of God to not teach, administer or manifest His glory through the use of women. Since when does the flesh, or physical male form supercedes the will of God in the Church? It does not. Sincere question: from where do you derive and subsequently conclude that God did not have a choice but to use Deborah? It makes ZERO sense. But, HOW and WHY do you believe that? On the other hand, not even concerning women, does God NEED men to operate? If there was such a rule, than it was made as an "exception" many times (revisit the my initial list mentioned). There's isn't such a rule, thus I state that you're twisting Scripture. You even contradict yourself because you say they're allowed to prophesize, but then state they cannot speak?? Which is it? Yes or no? The Word of God doesn't contradict itself. You're twisting it, hence the contradiction on your part. Obviously, the husband of one wife would include the female equivalent: a wife of one husband. If we go down that debate than only Adam was kicked out of Eden b/c Scripture ONLY states that man was kicked out. As well as lust, it'd exclude women since it only reads that men should not lust after women. We can't pick and choose when one part means one thing and another means another. The Bible was made for the teaching, instruction and blessing of both men and women. For when we come to Christ, He abides in us and it isn't the physical form that moves in the supernatural but His Spirit in us, be it man or woman. This is spiritually discerned. So, yes, women, just as men, can also be pastors. "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:27-28). Jesus came to fulfill the Law, not destroy it. Things such as the burnt offerings and being stoned to death, etc. no longer apply. But, where does the Law change in regards to women and men in regards to their sex or societal role? It didn't. God still uses both men and women for all callings in ministry and married women still have to submit to her husband. What change are you referring that, you believe, occurred?

Women CAN be helpful in many ways and serve many roles. God created women for this reason: "Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him *a helper* fit for him.” God wanted men to have wives and not be alone, however, some people can remain single as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 7:8. Beautifully explained! In the small church I attend, there is debate about this topic, but the pastors are in agreement that women cannot be pastors. However, there have been cases where the pastors have asked a woman to share on a Sunday morning, especially if it is during the men’s retreat, when most of the men are out of town. on another few occasions, the pastor has gone to the stage and introduced a woman from our congregation, who had unique experiences or wisdom about the topic, prayed over her and then allowed her to share the message. The logic is that these women are not pastors, but are invited and blessed by the pastors, under their authority, to share. I grew up in a church where women were never allowed to teach, so I have felt uncomfortable with this arrangement, but I also know that I have a tendency to favor legalism over the true spirit of the law in my flesh. I would love to hear the perspective of other godly people on this. I don’t want to dismiss a blessing that God has for our church because of legalism, but I’m wondering, what does Scripture say about these cases?

them tube deleted my reply Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God. A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge's verdict could not be altered. Read time: 12 minutes

you wrote: but I also know that I have a tendency to favor legalism Encourage legalism. Our servants, the lawyers, were condemned by the Liar's son harshly in the New Words: But He said, “Woe to you lawyers as well! For you load people with burdens that are hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers. And even more: Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering.” The letter of the law kills, so let it do its job. Even the New Words say: But we know that the law is good,... So teach legalism. Teach that whatever a female speaks indoors has more weight than if she speaks it outdoors. Make sure "the pulpit" is a mystical place indoors, in their phony religion. Call it a 'sanctuary', whatever that is. If a female does speak from "the pulpit" be sure all in attendance know that she is only being ALLOWED TO SPEAK BECAUSE A MALE ALLOWED IT. It is still terrible, but at least it's something. -excerpt Boltglue Email #3 I don't accept Boltglue's view of things. If we deeply study and analyze the Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians (Gal. 3:28-29), which narrates, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither Slave nor Free, there is neither Male nor Female for all in ONE with Christ Jesus." Q1?... In what ASPECT did the Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians relate regarding "NO DISTINCTION"?... Answer... from the ASPECT of SALVATION only... Q2?... Do the "Duties and Responsibilities" given to Man and Woman by God, have NO longer DISTINCTION in Christ?... Answer...NOPE... there are still distinctions between a Man and a Woman... Christ said, "Whomsoever DOES the WILL of my Father, is my mother, brother, and sister ... and will enter the Kingdom of Heaven."... Q3?... What is one of the WILL of God (God's Prerogative)?... Answer... Women of Faith must/should learn to KEEP Silent/Quiet in total Humility and submission to the Church of God in Christ... just like Blessed Mary, who is Blessed among Women, found highly Favored by God and full of Grace from the Holy Spirit, even she is qualified to TEACH and PREACH, kept her silent/quiet in total humility and submission to the Church of God in Christ Jesus till her death...all "Women of Faith" should walk-on her set of example. Q4?... If Galatians 3:28-29 covers all ASPECT of Equality (no distinction)... therefore, does this mean the HEAD of the Woman is no longer the MAN based on 1 Cor. 11:3?... Answer... Nope... Man is still the HEAD of the Woman SPIRITUALLY both in the Church and in Marriage.. while the HEAD of every MAN is Christ Jesus... Q5?... Can "Women of Faith" do anything in the Church of God in Christ?... Answer... Yes, God created the Woman (Eve) as the BEST SUITABLE HELPER (not slave or servant) for man, she can help assist man with the distribution, collection, donation, and contribution to the Church, and she can also do the Church's Gospel Choir with musical instruments, etc... but leave the Church MANAGEMENT, TEACHING, PREACHING, REFUTING, DEBATING, CORRECTING, BAPTIZING, and making DISCIPLESHIP to the "MEN (Elder) of Faith" for the Church of God in Christ... Christ gave the KEYS to the Gates of Heaven to a Man named Apostle Peter and not to any qualified women... Q6?... What if there is NO "Man of Faith" fit to be a Pastor/Preacher?... Answer... Have faith in God... God can make a way, when there seems to be no way... Prophet John the Baptist said to the stubborn Jews that God could make Descendants of Abraham out of the ROCK... the Rock is Christ, and that is why, Christians are grafted by God to the Real VINE (Christ Jesus) as the adopted Sons of Abraham... Perhaps, if there will be no more "Men of Faith," God will use a BOY (male child) to Teach and Preach the Gospel... impossible to Man but very possible with God. In conclusion, the only TIME that there will be absolutely NO DISTINCTION in all ASPECT is after the JUDGMENT DAY of God... Those who will be SAVED will live the Life of IMMORTALITY, with no more distinction between Man and Woman, Ethnicity, Nationality, etc., they will not get married to have a family of their own, and no more procreation... We will be as ONE BODY in Christ Jesus living in the New Heaven and New Earth with New Jerusalem, forever... Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen and Amen..

@8784-l3b Жыл бұрын
@@flightTime123 It's not about roles. It's about men and women being perfectly equal spiritually. My short post 'Complementarianism' is below. Complementarianism That false and confusing teaching, that states Christian women are less than Christian men in a spiritual way, but they really aren't, but they really are. The complementarian teaching prohibits a Christian woman from holding certain positions in a church. They can't be elders neither can they teach men. So why is that? The false teaching makes it clear that the priesthood of the New Covenant is tiered. There is a hierarchy. Those that are higher, the men, can be in leadership positions, like elder. They can teach other men. Those in the lower tier can not be in leadership positions, like elder. They are prohibited from teaching men, because the men are in the higher tier. It wouldn't make any sense. A new believer is automatically assigned their level, higher or lower, at the moment of salvation, as a birthright. Their gender determines their tier. A Christian can not move to a higher or lower tier. A Christian that is in the lower tier (woman) is not allowed to complain of the tier she was placed in. That would be sin, because God made her a woman by His choice. She should accept and also embrace her position in the lower tier. A church, is either a group of Christian men or a group of Christian men and women. A church can never be a group of Christian women, because it would be a group of only those in the lower tier. It would have no elders. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. -excerpt 1 Peter 2 Since the teaching states that women are spiritually inferior to men, but they aren't, but they are, when did that start? But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a wrongdoer. -excerpt 1 Timothy 2 It started with the first woman. She was deceived, and sinned because of it. So we have a teaching that accepts that men and women are fallen beings. Both genders are sinful by nature. However women are different. They are lacking the ability that men have to judge if some situation, some concept or teaching is sinful. This inability was passed down from Eve to all women. It remains to this day. A woman in our time was 'lacking' from birth, even from the womb. So what can be done? Nothing according to Complementarianism. That is because an anointing of that powerful masculine being called the Holy Spirit, is just not sufficient. Even the Holy Spirit can not elevate even one Christian woman to the spiritually superior level of a Christian man.

@@flightTime123 Any doctrine that is in opposition to what God actually did must be a false doctrine. A Judge had the authority, in scripture, to execute men for certain sins. If a man refused the verdict of a Judge on any matter, the penalty, according to scripture, was execution. God ruled Israel through Deborah, since she was a Judge. Taken from my essay: A Judge at this time, was VERY different from a judge in our time. The Judge was over the nation of Israel. But not as a man, as King, or as a woman, as Queen, because God was not rejected as King as yet. God ruled Israel through the Judges. Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, and since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verses 9 and 10 KJV -God speaking to Nathan the prophet

The topic of women's ordination has been a matter of debate in different religious organizations for many centuries. Evidence from history indicates that in ancient societies, there were respected lineages of female priests. However, as Catholicism gained prominence, it became evident that the priesthood became a source of power and wealth accumulation. As a result, only men were allowed to hold the role of priesthood. It is important to mention that during the time when Jesus Christ lived two thousand years ago, he treated both men and women equally.

If the pigs’ owners were Jews, Jesus could have been rebuking them for violating Mosaic law which forbids Jews from eating or keeping unclean animals such as swine (Leviticus 11:7). If the swineherds were Gentiles, perhaps Jesus was using this miraculous event to show them the malice of evil spirits under whose influence they lived, as well as displaying His own power and authority over creation. In any case, the owners were so terrified to be in the presence of such spiritual power that they made no demand for restitution for the loss of their property and begged Jesus to leave the region.” When it comes to the dead burying the dead, Jesus was referring to those who were spiritually dead, and have no interest in God.
