technically if you side with glut and fight spaw, if you immediately focus down spaw and only kill him, all the other NPCs will become passive again, as glut effectively takes over the hivemind and all the denizens follow his command.

In act three you can get Slights of the Seelie: Summon Deva in Lorroakan's Tower. You can learn it with Wizard and get to summon a Deva using a level 5 spell slot.

It's a level 6 spell now. Personally, I think the Air Myrmyadon is a better use of the level 6 spell slot, because it's free infinite use stun attack that also deals good damage can carry. On my most recent playthrough the steel watcher titan didn't get a single turn cause I stun locked him with my airy armoured boi

Console away. The best thing about these challenges is seeing what's possible. Its not like you'd be making something you couldn't get otherwise- its just saving you having to replay all of ACT 1 for no good reason.

@@NoNo-tl9gbUntil patch 7 comes out, the only way to be able to use honour mode difficulty with reloads is to start in honour, die, and press continue in dishonour. Larian said they will release a way to select honour mode difficulty in a custom playthrough in patch 7.

To make the grym fight easier, you can do the same strategy you did in the video, but instead use a minor illusion to lure grym towards the hammer. Then use the skeleton to shoot the hammer lever. Took me 4 hammers to bring it down.

Snatch the Boots of Speed off the gnome. Then you can use turn based mode to move, dash, and click heels. That’s more than enough movement to get to him before the turn ends

1. Amazing video (as always) 2. I definitely think you should use the console to get the Moonlantern in Act II 3. Fighting glut doesn’t actually make any of his summons turn against you, but they do go into this weird limbo state where they are neutral NPCs. Longresting and coming back to the bulette will make it aggro on you, however. Source: I tried to do this last week

Oh, I get it. Even if you don't complete Honour Mode by reloading a save, you still get the enemies with legendary actions. So it's the hardest difficulty.

Ye. Any honor mode campaign that ends can be continued as a custom game from the save. It's all the features of honor mode minus the honor of completing the game without experiencing a party wipe.

Heads up for future challenge runs. You don’t have to sneak around the intellect devourers. You can jump up next to them and avoid them while getting a good chest and some exp. This avoids the risk of being seen. Also when it comes to the fight at the grove, if you have enhanced leap prepared, you can use it to jump up on the wall and just blow the rally horn every turn. The NPCs will never die in that case.

I know this might be a bit late, but it’s still on the topic of summons. you can get a stupidly powerful summon in act 2 by playing as an oathbreaker paladin and using control dead on the spectator from the flask by killing it and letting it get resurrected by the shadow curse. For anyone doing a similar challenge, feel free to try this out

Great Vid! For me, as a 300 hours player, the hardest fight in Act 1 is against the flamming fists, if you don"t cheese it. It has 2-3 level 6 enemies, but is worth for the sword and xp. I recommend doing the fight after they enter the burning house, so you separate them and they lose turns moving. 2nd hardest fight is Grymforge for me, because he"s level 10, lmao. But he is actually dumb and you can hammer him.

also fyi for the grym fight you can use the imp to get grym to go under the hammer by recasting invisibility under the hammer, letting grym walk there, and activating the hammer with an arrow to speed up the fight! very cool video :)

seems like a lot of people don't know you can beat grym in around 5 turn by using the massive forge hammer while he's super heated, it does around 120-150 damage and causes him to waste his next action sometimes

When I got Glut on my side, I went straight over to kill his foes. He then powered up with more health and ranged spells. I didn't have to go back to Spaw for a while. And in the end, I just killed Glut in my party without opening further dialog.

A tip for or those who utilize Glut. Just before the Duergar battle ends, control the reanimated creature to jump to its death in the river chasm so you don’t have to deal with it when you start a fight with him.

Great video! Next time to deal with grim make sure you complete hag quest earlier and take "second marriage" wand (or any summons will do tbh) you just spawn them from top right below the hammer so grim always moves there to attack. All you need to do is shoot a lever couple of times and it's done. 5 minutes max :) Zombie from wand is just convenient since you can spawn him without any spell slots million times.

fun fact: if you turn on glut, you dont need fight both glut and bullette. Bullette will be still under your control

For future reference in the Grym fight, save some magical items and even just normal weapons, and from that spot, throw them at him. He's vulnerable to bludgeoning damage, so it'll usually be about 20-30 damage per throw, so that can speed it up immensely. Get some Haste or something, and you can get a good 80 damage or so a turn

You can make the Grym cheese much faster by using Minor illusion and dragging him under the forge hammer and then shooting an arrow to drop the hammer

TECHNICALLY if you use CC like hold person/monster, stuns, or sleep you increase the damage dealt towards that target so it could be argued you casting that spell caused damage, but it allows for more tactics and makes the video come out sooner so I don't mind, but some could argue it invalidates the challenge
