I've got a challenge for you to try. Can you beat Fallout3/NV/4/Skyrim as the talented Mr. Ripley. Basically, whenever you kill someone, you assume their identity by donning their armor and using their weapons. When you do this, you have to rid yourself of your previous identity by dropping weapons and armor that you unequip.

The original Borderlands is very nostalgic for me, I remember playing it through with my friend on Xbox. The atmosphere in the 1st game is great, the sequels always seemed to miss out on the seriousness and almost sort of creepiness that it had.

I once did a similar thing in Oblivion. The gimmick got old fast but I carried on through it because autism. The only good thing about it was never needing to repair or buy anything. My rule was that before I entered any dungeon (cave, for, ruin etc), I would drop all weapons and armour and start naked. I only had the crap I found in the dungeon or on enemies to work with until the start of the next dungeon. I also banned magic, except scrolls and potions. It was tricky until I had good endurance and a high hand-to-hand skill, and then it was just a mindless chore. I guess the same would be true in Skyrim - difficult until weapon and armour skills were built up, and just an irritation after that.

Then I remembered the flaw with this game is that you can’t do the side missions without gaining enough levels to become a god, and blast your way through the later missions easy peasy lemon squeezy. for most of it, i don't think this would be that hard - a weapon with a blade on it for extra melee damage, moredecai so you can take the middle tree to make his bird a weapon of mass destruction, or even gunslinger, ironically, for the melee and action skill cooldown skills. but it'd also be impossible - like mitten squad said in this video, turrets at times are a total bitch. and while 'not firing a weapon' could still include grenades or something, there's some turrets too far away that you afaik basically have to snipe (though maybe you could get through with lilith's invisibility, she's got some melee potential too) and i think even with a bitchin melee build that isn't gonna face a difficulty wall that's too hard, there'll be something out of range that fucks the run up. lilith would probably be able to do it easier given just not be targeted and run past a lot of BS, but i feel something would catch up to the run, potentially.

On one of my 360 saves, I lucked out on a white tier SMG while playing as Lilith. Company was Dahl, and here's the kicker: It had a damage multiplier, like a shotgun. It was a very low level requirement and lasted me well past what it should have. RNGsus blessed me that day, and kept on giving throughout the game. The biggest challenge was keeping up on ammo for it.
