via jumping over that gap from the ladder, it spawns pursuer in and kills him on his way back but you have to walk back on the wall. it basically deloads him from what i understood and the game considers him "killed"@@historicflame972

One glitch I sometimes use is one that equips a spell, but the cast count is of another spell. I believe it's for PC only. Uses are to equip powerful spells like forbidden sun or soul spear, useful ones like great heal excerpt and repair and swap casting count for weak ones like soul arrow or dark orb. To do it, equip the spell you actually want to use, then teleport anywhere, then after triggering the teleport, but before the loading screen, press right mouse button and click back (open bonfire menu while still on teleporting animation). Quickly choose to attune spell and, as the screen fades black, change to the spell with high casting count. If the spell changes accordingly, you pressed too early, if nothing changed, it was too late. Not that hard actually.
