People will literally take a melee weapon into a wide open area filled with snipers and other enemies that are vulnerable to piercing damage, die 500 times, and then blame "bad level design" My guy, an unupgraded bow can be used to pull everyone from their gank squads, if not outright kill them

16:41 its not actually a unique animation, in dark souls 2, if a boss dies in a state with no death animation programmed for that state, they just ragdoll. One of the funniest ways to use this is that sir alonne has no midair death animation. So if you time a hit perfectly so that it kills him when he jumps, right after he leaves the ground, he'll ragdoll, but keep the jump momentum, making his body fly across the room while the victory text displays.

No the guardian dragon one is an unique animation, dataminer has already confirmed this is an intended death animation, and if it's ragdoll it would spazz out of control with that pose midair, not this semi-nature falling death animation.

Had a weird little thought that I'm not entirely sure is even possible but I wanna try and ask someone to try anyways: Any Soulsborne title with only "Jumping Attacks" These are attacks that elevate the player off the ground before making their attempted attack. If the animation, say, leaps into the air and lands for the attack to do an extra thing, it counts because it is still part of the same action. Plunging attacks and Leaping Strikes and all that are all fair game too. "Hoppin' Good" for a name.

Having just completed DS2 again in a dagger only run after a few years of not playing it I can only say how sorry I am you had to play this 3 times. I'd honestly forgotten just how utterly frustrating the game is compared to every other entry in the series. When I started I said to myself I'd finally get past the Frigid outskirts to kill the cats this run... then I tried it twice and decided I valued my sanity more than killing copy paste gank boss, and just counted killing all the main bosses as good enough.

Unless they changed it, you can leave one summoned skeleton alive during the Elana fight and she won't summon more skeletons so you only have to keep track of max 3 enemies for the fight (Her, Velstadt and that one skeleton).
